May 16, 201016 yr :( RegardsBob G+1, but good luck. I've offered my G58 for unlimited access to any quality developer who wants to use it for reference in developing a Baron (flight model, sounds, model, etc) but haven't had any takers. I did get a call from a new developer named Geof, but he sounded suspicious. Jeremy "rightseater" Fletcher

May 16, 201016 yr Another vote from me and I'll put one in for Jeremy. The Duke is great but it is a whole different animal from a Baron. Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!

May 16, 201016 yr Why would someone want to make Manfred Von Richthofen for FSX? oh, you mean the Beechcraft Baron. Actually, joking aside, it'd probably get a lot of takers if someone made one, we only have to look at how the recent FS Duke and Duchess have done on sales. May 16, 201016 yr Just a question which I do not know the answer too. Can't users "portover" the FS9 DF Baron?
May 16, 201016 yr Just a question which I do not know the answer too. Can't users "portover" the FS9 DF Baron?Don't try to get out of this one Ron :( . It's got to be Eaglesoft, RealAir, or Carenado. Though I bet Mike from Lotus Sim could do one heck of a job too, and I'm sure others. Carenado is already off to a great start with the Bonanza if they wanted to do a 55 or B58.As for porting, I tried it, and it didn't work for me. I seem to recall gauge issues, and something else, maybe a problem with the model. I did see a few screenies a year or so ago from someone who did manage to port it over just fine with some modifications, but no such luck for me and many others. Back then frame rates were a big issue with that port over as well, though I suspect some of these new rigs probably eat it up. Jeremy "rightseater" Fletcher
May 16, 201016 yr Just a question which I do not know the answer too. Can't users "portover" the FS9 DF Baron?I did that in the early days of fsx. There are just a couple problems. 1) Though great/wonderful for the days of fs2004, it obviously doesn't take advantage of the new fsx features2) A B55 Baron not only looks completely different on the outside, instrument cluster and inside (almost exactly like the new Carenado F33a but multi gauges, throttle quad, 6 seats etc.).Did I mention that a B55 Baron (which 3155 were produced from 1961-1983) is still a hugely popular aircraft-and some say the best flying of all the Barons-and that one has never been done for fs? May 16, 201016 yr Geof, I know the differences between the 55 and 58 but was thinking of how to do both in one package. :( Looks like Chuck has beaten us to the punch at least for one of the types...congrats Chuck.
