August 1, 201015 yr ARe you sure that can be used for Phototextures like this one and not default textures?I wouldn't lead you astray, Manny. How do you think Mega Scenery O'ahu got all those trees? Fire up Annotator, load one of the BGL files that contains the photo scenery and start planting as you see fit. The other alternative would be to start FSX and Instant Scenery (1 or 2) and plant objects from the Autogen and Vegetation libraries. Normally this would not be a good idea, as the object libraries are non-seasonal variants. But this is Hawai'i we're talking about, there are no seasons but one... heavenly! If placing scenery objects and not autogen annotation, please remember to utilize the scenery density settings so that everything doesn't show on NORMAL. :(
August 4, 201015 yr Author ARe you sure that can be used for Phototextures like this one and not default textures? It's a lot easier adding autogen trees than buildings. You can map trees by areas of coverage with the annotator. Buildings are another matter from what I can tell. You add buildings one structure at a time.As Scott mentioned, be careful when adding objects (as opposed to autogen) whether trees or buildings. They default to a "Normal" setting unless you specify a different density. If you add a lot, you could easily overwhelm a lesser computer.Toby23,Yes, it took quite a bit of time.Rich
