It does look really good from what I've flown so far. I think the water was water-masked in pretty well. The only quibble I would have is that Waimea Canyon looks a little washed-out (too yellow). I was wondering about waterfall effects. I see a couple versions of Victoria Falls in the library, I wonder how hard it is to create a realistic falls as seen in Hawaii?I also vote for Lana'i, though certainly not the sort of "wow" factor of the terrain that Maui has. Scott you know that Fs Genesis has a cheap addon called Waterfalls of Hawaii or something similar available from their website. I actually own that and the falls look good and the effectes work well with photoscenery. However I had a few problems with the sound with the sound of any falls could be heard from way farther away than their normal range. Like the falls in Waimea Canyon could be heard from PHNG below. I wrote about this to the developer - even suggested the cause of the problem - but I only received promises. Since then he might have come around repairing the files however I have given up on FSG stuff since. You might wanna give it a whirl though as the effect itself looks really good.Alex

I would think there is. Have not tried to be honest as the idea of a silent waterfall did not even occur to me.Alex

Manny, the Autogen Annotator will allow placement within a defined polygon.

Unfortunately, that was the result of a compromise I had to make to get rid of the extreme contrastiness of the source material. After fighting it for a month, I finally had to say "good enough".As far as FSG's waterfalls are concerned, the only thing I noticed is that, when I used them, they shifted the photoscenery a bit to one side at that point. It drove me crazy for awhile until I realized that it was the waterfall effect that was causing the shift.Rich

Some of you may remember my Kauai Demo scenery from last December. Well, after about about 400 man hours of work, the Kauai photoscenery is finally completed. Rich

After looking with various combinations of mesh and airports, I found it best to deactivate the FSG ADE airports and use the Hawaii - Kauai ones. I did leave in the FSG modified DEMs and cvx files.scott s..
