Tapatalk for Avsim?

Featured Replies

Hello, sorry for bringing this quite old topic up, i just started using tapatalk to browse avsim forums, and faced a small problem. How can i log in to my account? I've tried inserting the email i use for logging in on my computer, double-checked that i insert password correctly; but no luck. Also tried my screen name, but couldn't log in. So what should i use to log in, as i cant log in at the moment. :Nail Biting:

I tried the app but I prefer to simply click the link I get in the email when a new post is made in a thread I'm watching. Is there any way to get the full version of the AVSIM Forums even though you're coming from an iPhone instead of the mobile version?
There's a couple of ways you can go about doing that. Just like Android and Blackberry, the iPhone will allow you to turn off the automatic mobile version page loader in your internet settings. You can also specify certain pages that you want to load in regular format, though I don't recall if that option was included by default, or if that came with an app. Or, you can just scroll all the way down to the bottom of the forums and look for a link in the bottom left corner that says something like "view full board", or something similiar to that. That will re-load the forums in regular HTML type.

Same here, unable to log in via Tapatalk. Although the forum is enabled for this, it appears that access is restricted so no login is possible. Will the webmaster please enable this so we can post using this application? Thanks.

Guys, we really appreciate you setting up the forums for Tapatalk but since December at least three people including myself have stated that we cannot log in. Would you please take a look so we can browse with our own IDs?CheersDavid

Why not just change the theme of the site to Mobile at the bottom of the page, I actually prefer it to Tapatalk now and many of the FS forums use the same forum software and they all have the Mobile theme installed.

Cheers, Andy.

I'm using. Tapatalk on both iPhone and iPad. I use it because it keeps all my forums in one easy to use location. I do have a problem with AVSIM in that I cannot log in as previous posts have indicated.RegardsRussell Jourdain

Best I can tell is that the plugin from Tapatalk was never installed and setup fully. I have just done this and VERIFIED published on the Tapatalk site. Try it now and let me know, but it should be working now.
