Featured Replies

No there is not, I'll shoot that one down right now. Our efforts are much better served modelling things that pilots use, not passengers.

This is actually good to hear. I hate when developers waste resources on parts of the plane that have absolutely nothing to do with flying it. CS comes to mind...

I agree!! Why waste resources on something that (A true) virtual Captain never sees. But then again the replays in PAX view is cool! All I need is the pit!!

Very glad to hear this. I very much like to see resources put into actual aircraft systems and things that are used for flying the plane than cabins and other things. My latest plane that I bought and have been flying around lately is the Eaglesoft C750 (2.0 version), and I would say I would gladly trade the VIP stuff, the virtual cabin for a more complete FMS.

Looks like we all agree on that one, cool :-)

Like the look of the new cabin. Can't see Ryanair going for that somehow, unless MOL considers stuffing extra passengers into those larger luggage bins :(

Aww, one thing i love doing in the queen on lon hauls is walkin around the cabin, lookin out the windows etc. The pit is awsome, but the cabin completes it for me :(Hay ryan, are you guys gonna make a weather radar for the 'bus'? It would be greatly appreciated if you can :(

goooood that there will be NO cabin...or no-needed-things like that...but still hope that there will be a wingview..out of the window with the cabin-sounds..

Cabin sounds in cockpit would be great idea! I've never been in real cockpit, but many videos shows, that cabin sounds are clearly audible, and get lauder and lauder while people on board start to talk to each other, all those babies crying, wifes accusing husbands of looking at young stewardesses etc :(

What would be cool though is some sort of J41 virtual passenger, so that when you load it in the load manager people show up in the window. Not a really a wish list item, just something I thought was kind of cool about the J41.

You can knock up a cabin view yourself easily enough if you want one. Just get a picture of a cabin, crop it to the right dimensions, stick black on an alpha channel where the windows are so they will be transparent. Then save it as a texture in the correct format and make it a new pop up panel in the config file which uses that as the background texture. It would take you about ten minutes in Photoshop and about 30 seconds in FSPanel Studio. :( Al

How do you walk around the cabin? I can see it, but all I can do it pan my view, not actually get up and move about.
