Anyone know what the beta update does?Does it effectt your current settings?

In this version we have added "save cameras with one click" feature and have added possibility to change priority to process EZCA. For change "process priority" you should open General settings panel and see "Set application priority" section.Now we make new protection EZCA and we ask you to test this version with new protection engine. We have united the protection mechanism together with EZCA physics engine and if your license is broken then behavior of EZCA physics will be not predicted. The physics will work normally only for legal EZCA users.

Hi, I'm asking in this thread because there doesn't appear to be a dedicated EZDOK forum at AVSim and the same question I posted in theSimflight forum went unanswered. Hi Marniftar, have installed the new software, is it now possible to cycle the camera views with a keyboard or joystick command? That would be really good, as its a real pain having to use the studio to change views.Cheers,Mark

All this new version does is add a "save cameras with one click" feature and the possibility to change priority of the EZCA proccess. This new version doesn't add a cycle option. You can assign keys to views, though, which sure is better than having to go to the studio everytime. Of course you need a different key for every view, but when you only assign keys to the views you use most often, that shouldn't be a big problem.

My next question for all ezca users:Do you need "cycle view" feature in EZCA ?We tested this mode and found that this mode have not any interest for simmers because EZCA have "direct call camera" mode.Also this mode not hard for realization but this mode will bring additional complexity in switching between the built in system of the browse and EZCA. This realization will to required use two separate assignments (keys and buttons) for cyclic views for FSX and EZCA.

Do you need "cycle view" feature in EZCA?

Yes. Bill Womack explains it very well in his review, which is otherwise very positive: http://iblueyonder.com/review-ezca. The default camera system is limited, but you can access all of the cameras with only two joystick buttons. Result: you can keep your hands on the controller instead of moving them down to the keyboard.My suggestion would be to combine the two camera systems, default and EZDOK Camera, into one interface:1. EZDOK Camera would trap and process all of the S and A keystrokes. In setting up the program, user would delete the S and A keyboard assignments in FSX.2. The default camera views would be included in the EZDOK cycle. For example, let's say there are 2 default camera views, A through B, and 2 EZCA views, a through b. The full S cycle would have 4 elements:1. Default A (VC)2. Default B (Exterior)3. EZCA a4. EZCA bWithin each camera, there might also be different views. For example, Default B camera might have Spot Plane view and Top-down view. EZCA b camera might have VC Main, VC Passenger, and VC First Officer. To move between the different views, default or EZCA, you would use the same key: A.

Cycling views has been on the wishlist of MANY EZCA users: I read requests for that everywhere. So I would indeed add that option: it will make a lot of customers happy and maybe even convince others to get EZCA after all. (In fact, I am a bit surprised that you are asking this, because you should know by now that many people want it and if I remember well this option was already promised too...!)On the other hand: I myself absolutely HATE cycling views. :( It totally spoils the immersion for me. I would ALWAYS prefer the possibility to access views right away: so I personally LOVE what EZCA does for me right now! So if you are going to add the cyling option, make sure you keep the "direct call camera" mode working as it is, because I LOVE it!
