August 22, 201015 yr I have been using EZDOK for a while now, but the settings can be extremely complicated and there is very little documentation behind it. I am wondering what settings everyone here uses.I am trying to mimic this video as close as possible, especially the shaking that happens on touchdown. Does anyone know which settings I'd have to play with to achieve this? Thanks
August 22, 201015 yr I'd like to know also. That video captures the most accurate ground camera profile, where it reacts to the rear wheels touching down, followed by the nose wheel landing with effects to match. If someone thinks they have a very good ground profile, please post. :( Curt Branch
August 22, 201015 yr Moderator Hirgab your right about liking that effect.I have had EZdok since its release and have been trying to get a landing effect pretty similar to that. Maybe we could ask the fellow who made the video if he could share his EZdok settings with us.BTW, I agree with you about the EZdok manual, it is really lacking info for how to set up specialized effects. August 22, 201015 yr Does anyone know how to achieve the coloring that is in the video? Anyone have a ENB config that will do that. The sky is a little too turquoise but the water and ground are fantastic. As for EZDok, I have not even begun to play with the effects. The manual doesn't say much and I don't have the patience to play with it. I am hoping the GUI is simpler are the manual is better in the next version (2.0). MSFS Premium Deluxe Edition; Windows 11 Pro, I9-9900k; Asus Maximus XI Hero; Asus TUF RTX3080TI; 32GB G.Skill Ripjaw DDR4 3600; 2X Samsung 1TB 970EVO; NZXT Kraken X63; Seasonic Prime PX-1000, LG 48" C1 Series OLED, Honeycomb Yoke & TQ, CH Rudder Pedals, Logitech G13 Gamepad
August 22, 201015 yr Author Yes, if anyone can tell us what we need to do with REX 2 & FSWaterConfigurator options or anything else to get that water effect.
August 22, 201015 yr Moderator It says on his video he is using DX10 and from what I am aware of FSWaterConfigurator for DX10 is not yet available. As for the water it looks like the REX Sparking water animation. The bloom settings look similar to what Fengz uses, maybe a little lighter though. You can find Fengs bloom setting on Avsim if you do a search for it.I just emailed him about the EZdok settings. It will be interesting to see what he says. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

Would you by any chance have a link to it?
August 22, 201015 yr Moderator I can't seem to find this "Fengz/fengs" bloom thingy from the avsim library. Would you by any chance have a link to it?Thats because its not in the library. What I meant is do a search in the forums for keywords FengZ and Bloom and you will get a lot of results, too many for me to sort thru at the moment though. August 22, 201015 yr I wonder if he is using something like Sony Vegas as when it touches down you can see its in widescreen and even the widescreen area, the black edges are moving up and down which to me makes me think hes applied a motion filter in the video itself and its not actually on the original recorded footage. Also the colour could have been done with the video editing software too.Something to think about anyway.Craig

Plus I emailed him yesterday and he said that he is using the EZdok camera addon. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

I emailed him back today that yes, I have read the manual and tried myself to get that effect.I will see what he says. But wait there's more, lol.Curt started a thread over at the EZdok forum asking Marniftarr if he could make a camera for us that has that effect: http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=35981&title=camera-settings-requestSo, maybe all hope isn't lost for those of us looking for that specific effect. August 24, 201015 yr Craig, in the drop down box under the video he says that he's using the ENB mod. Plus I emailed him yesterday and he said that he is using the EZdok camera addon.Based on the date of the video, he couldn't have been using EZDOK, at least not the payware version, unless he was a Beta tester. The date of the video is Feb 2010, EZDOK/EZCA wasn't released until March 2010. I don't believe the freeware version had this capability, so for the video, it probably was a Sony Vega effect (or similar). He probably meant he uses EZDOK now! Perhaps he was not telling me the truth and it was done using the Sony Vega effect? I like to think he wasn't lying to me, but of course you never know? I like to think he wasn't lying to me, but of course you never know?I doubt he was intentionally lying either, he might have just misunderstood the question, but the fact is this video is dated Feb. 3, 2010 and EZCA/EZDOK wasn't released until March 3rd 2010. Now it's possible he was a Beta tester, but then he would have been under a NDA at the time, and there shouldn't have been a public video with it used. Also he never stated in the video posts anything about EZCA/EZDOK. The only references in the responses, were this past week by other users.http://forum.avsim.net/topic/278122-ezca-released Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
