New day at Captain Sim?

Seems like they might just have problems when it comes to the glass planes. Too high tech for them to program I guess.
Not sure what you mean by this. The 707 is a 'steam' gauge plane, CS has done many 'glass' planes, I have most of them.

I've watched people in this forum slam CS for putting out buggy products. "It does this, it doesn't do that". But now that it looks like they've actually spent some time on a quality product, people won't buy it because of the price. This is a predicament developers are in.
The hell you say! Consumers demanding quality products at a decent price?? That's blasphemy!Welcome to business as we know it. In no way is it limited to developers.

Quite pricey product this current 707 package (actually one livery included) BUT if CS continues on that good support and of course delivers the promised 1.1 update, I have no reason to doubt that this buy was a good one.I have to agree about the impressions from CS forums: nice, fast, listening to customers. Great support job overall and despite the flaws of the current 1.0 product: this thing is a beauty, very detailed in my eyes and was made with passion. There are some other products currently out there, that get more attention but don't deserve it as much as this lady does.If you liked the still fine 727, you'll love the 707 and I can assure you that you will be impressed about the fine details. For people asking whether to buy now or later or just wondering about the current flaws in 1.0, there's a thread in their forums done by an open eyed user that lists all known things and all those that are on the service pack list.

"Instant Classic" comes to mind. If a 707 is as good a 707 as, say an MD-11 is an MD-11, I don't know where it is written that classic airplanes without glass have to cost less. If Captain Sim makes a bundle, well, welcome to capitalism comrade.

they still delete posts that don't A$$ kiss! I asked them why its so hard to find update and patches instead of searching for ticket and KB numbers etc.. They didn't even reply, just deleted the post! So Im done purchasing from them. In the past year I got the 767, 757, 727 and c130. But they dont give 2 hoots about customers!

I've owned every version of flight simulator since Flight Simulator 3.0 in 1988.

Windows 11 Pro loaded on a 4TB Gen5 Crucial T700 SSD, 4TB Samsung 990 Pro SSD, Ryzen 9 7950x3d, AS Rock X670e Taichi Motherboard, Gigabyte Gaming RTX 4090 OC 24GB, 64GB (2x32GB) Viper Venom  DDR5-6000MT/s, MSI 32" MAG 321UPX QD-OLED 260hz 4K Gaming Monitor.

Ok, if I own the 767 for example, I go to the Captain Sim site, click the 767 picture and then "updates", so this isn't a too complicated way to find all current patches for your product, at least in my eyes. One site, two clicks and there you are.Might be that this "question" is very common and the only I thing I agree with you is to be upset if a question is just deleted and never answered.I'd presume that they state the update click routine somewhere in the FAQs and therefor act rather resolute to "new" questions of this kind. Agreed, could be more friendly then.I always got a newsletter from them if some update was available and then I could follow a direct link to it. Straightforward, I think.Off topic: Your "Interests" fill half of my screen LOL.gif

I have been watching the 707 comments over on the CS forums, and maybe it's just me, but I detect a change in attitude with CS. They are answering posts in a timely manner, without the attitude they are famous for. They are polite, informative, and helpfull. Anyone else noticed this? Credit where credit is due, I hope it continues cause they produce beautifull planes.
+ 1 here, I'm happy with my Captain Sim products and with their attitude to me as a customer. Credit where credit is due.

Regards,
Stan

I was one of the people who constantly tried to actually get CS to acknowledge the problemswith their 707. The thing, for example, rocked up and down like Bob Marley on a good day. Usually some "armchair internet 707 pilot" chimed in and blamed it all on "user error" orrtfm, etc. But flying CS's 707 (one of my favorite planes) felt like dragging an unruly child around by its ears.

I guess I'm one of the "armchair internet 707 pilots" but I have been flying the 707 for a week now and except for the Doppler problem it flys like a dream, so maybe, just maybe, it is on your end. :(
