Great news gentlemen, I've been exchanging some emails with Rob Young this morning (Developer of the Duke) to ensure seemless transaction to whomever the winner should be. I just brought the contest to his attention recently in discussion of what the best option would be for someone to buy the product for another. Long story short (if that's possible with me), he's has been insisting that he donate a copy for the winner. Well as much of a generous offer as that is I couldn't allow myself to let it happen for various reasons, so after a couple discusions/emails about it we reached a fair compromise :)I will still provide a copy for one of the top canidates and Rob will as well, so that will of course make two copies of the Duke available for the top two winners! This was very unexpected but many thanks To Mr.Young for his generous contribution to the contest.

Having just watched the History Channels "most extreme airports", I gravitated towards the Kai Tek shot immediately. Beautiful shot, and seen from the perspective of someone with a camera on the hill, simply breathtaking. I see tons of photos or videos of the famous approach, and l have a fetish for ground to air shots. In cruise when I'm flying I make it a point to go to tower view to see myself in the air, I love spotting in RL and in FSX.
I recorded that on my DVR; awesome program.

I voted KAI TAK. Love the composition, add to that the beautifull colors and the fact that KAi TAK is "Photogenic" anyway.

Fantastic news!

Voted for Wheels Up for the nice angle (though it looks a little bit distorted) and the great colours. Best vividity (is that a word???) of the three.Cheers,

Voted wheels up, i mean the second you see it, you just feel the energy that the aircraft is going through. Just amazing.

Just wanting to say that I had thought of this, but in all fairness will not (cannot) do that.I have received several PM's and Emails about this and cannot do that because it would not be a fair thing to do. Even though I am the one holding the contest I have no right changing the rules. Even upping the deadline date for the entrants caught some flak from some people that it was unfair to change a rule once it was announced and followed by others. I remain neutral on that though, meaning I stand by my reasoning on it but see the point of the few others that brought it to my attention. These are still the top 3 screenshots from the whole lot of them. Nothing changes that. The addition of another prize does not change this fact. Having an additional prize to award is only a circumstance to the on going contest and nothing more. I don't see how the 2nd place screenshot should miss out on a second place award and give it to the 4th, 5th & 6th place entrants anyway, that doesn't make any sense at all and is completely unfair.PS. Contest officially closes in 06:31:37 @ 7:00PM tonight EST.Thanks,

Wow this must have been extremely hard to cut down to 3 pics, the Stormy Approach was amazing! I voted for wheels up though, very unique I loved it.

Haha, yeah I know. Look at the begining of this thread, it was mentioned 1st thing. As for the gallery. I am already working on uploading them to post links for later. I am still waiting on the ok for many of them though since I haven't gotten a responce on if they mind or not and don't want to post their images if they rather I didn't. I know they wouldn't mind if they were in the top 3, but some might not want theirs posted after seeing the top 3, as one recent responce so nicely put it "Hell no, lol. Now that i see what others got i rather not or else get picked on". I strongly doubt anyone here would do such a thing, but see where they're coming from just the same.

Was a hard one deciding between Just Beechy and Kai Tak... I must say Just Beechy won me over in the end. Nothing like the view coming in to Princess Julianna Intl for a landing.
