November 21, 201015 yr Dear PMDG. For today I've a few questions and some small idea's for the 737NGX.Questions:- Are we able to open the cockpit windows aswell? I'd like it to wave to my virtual spotters ...:( ohh, and secondly, it can be useful if my co-pilot farted.B)- How about a weather radar? I assume it's not getting in because it's hard to develop? But what are the reasons for not developing a weather radar exactly?- The 737-800 comes with two types of MCP. I assume we can choose between them at the 737NGX?Idea's (small but real in my eyes)- Adding a bottle water near the Captain/FO chair;*- Adding a few papers/checklist(s) at the MCP.*** clickable bottle to appear or disappear it in case you like it or dislike it. ** clickable checlists with a few options:Left mousebutton at checklists that lay at the MCP gives:- Open checklists view in 2D (Like you open the FMC aswell)Right mousebutton at checlists that lay at the MCP gives:- disappear checklists (for people that dislike it to see them there or if weil taking-off). When disappeared, you can get it back by right clicking at the MCP and select: appear checlists, or any thing else like that.- appear checklistsHere a picture of a B737 cockpit. You see a bottle water near the trottles/seat and some piece of paper at the MCP. But at this picture there are too many books/papers at the MCP I thinkit will be better to lower the amount of that. :(Here a picture:That were my questions and idea's! The idea's are just small idea's but in my eyes they can be very very cool. The bottle water just adds some life and reality in the cockpit and the checlistsadds aswell some life and reality in the cockpit but also a nice feature to operate with the checklists of the 737! In my eyes in can be a very nice extra for the coming 737NGX and I hope you, PMDG,will add these two small but cool extra's to the 737NGX! :( Steven Albi

It's not that it's "hard" to do, it's that the FSX engine doesn't actually treat precipitation as a real meteorological event - you can't actually find precipitation though any documented method, which is what a real radar does. The FS radars that are out there are making guesses as to the possible position of precipitation based on cloud location - that's not how a real radar works. If there was a way to get the location of actual precipitation out of the sim, we'd have a radar.MCP - yes both the Collins and Honeywell MCPs are there.Regarding the VC - I doubt we will specifically add those two random things, this VC is already the most complex one ever made for FS, I don't think we want to push the polygons any further than we have to, you never know when there's gonna be some undocumented internal limit in the engine or something like that. November 23, 201015 yr hello people, the plane is a wonder! I would like to know which operating system and configuration of their computers thanks Hi Mate. I do not know at what kind of computer PMDG have tested their products. But if you are intrested in what kind of hardware would be good to run FSX very well, then I recommend you to go here: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/319096-new-fsx-computer/- This topic is very active about hardware and what people are using themselves and what they recommend eachother ;) Steven Albi
