After a recent trip to BestBuy in U.S,I was Amazed at how few PC Gaming titles they carry compared to years past.On the other hand it seems the console market has grown ten fold.I'm Happy that MS is making another FS for our very selective Hobby.

It's very true - and it's sort of alarming, but I wouldn't be too concerned, it's just that the retail channels have changed.http://store.steampowered.com/genre/Simulation/It’s actually really good news for PC gaming - because stores, like BestBut, had a hard time selling to niche markets. We are seeing PC games that couldn’t have been built just 5 years ago.But it is buyer beware more than ever ;)

Very good point.Thank You

Lol, you’re a true pessimist :biggrin:Riding a virtual sub to the Titanic on your PC isn’t going to be the best investment you’ve ever made.To a few people it’s worth the 30 bucks. And you know very well the effort that goes into these things. If they'd used toothpicks instead of bits they’d be on the local news :Whew:But I'll agree, if you want the best value for money, stick with mass market games. The margins on a “tractor game” don’t put it the league of GTA…so yeah buyer beware :smile:PS. What’s funny is I grew up messing with farm equipment.Tractors, combines, rotavators, balers…they all sort of float my boat ;)

dmaher: I did buy Starcraft II... and I would say it definitely does have a cutting edge graphics engine. But at the same time if it wasn't for the multiplayer that game wouldn't sell well at all, despite the 10 years of effort they put into it. In fact the single player mode is just one long tutorial.

The first two videos were renders done by artists. The third was the first in-game footage. I know this because...well...I know a guy. :(
Ok Brandon, please tell this guy, PLEASE to make MSflight with a totally new engine, which uses the modern hardware, and with no compatibility with fsx!!!An eventually compatibility means an engine tied to the old one, I think. So I'd like no more headache for getting 25 fps in every situation!

Let's hope the sheer beauty of Flight's scenery does not put REX, Flight1, Aerosoft's scenery partners, FSDT and ImagineSim into bankruptcy. And its aircraft too, to not effectively decomission Mauricio Illanes and co. Dave.

Not to worry, FSX looked good compared to previous versions and the named developers improved upon it..... same will happen with Flight.
