Dear PMDG,A few big questions here1:Will the fire detection/extinguising system work? i.e. - if a fire occurs, the wanring light goes off, fire light goes on, then I pull the handle and it shuts down and puts out the fire2:Will the GPWS test mode work?3:Will the icing effects work? i.e. if the icing/air conditioning is set wrong - windows freeze up?4:Will the stall and overspeed tests work?5:Will the seperate types of lighting work? i.e - backlight, panel lights, dome lights, and if so will they be redish like the real one when set that way?6:Will turning the brightness all the way down on the main gauges make the gauge backgrounds black? If not, is there a "PMDG Colors" option of some sort to adjust it to your taste?7:All though the cockpit door won't open, does the cabin door lock control work? Thanks in Advance,Collin BiedenkappPS. Sorry for being picky, I'm just anal about perfection, and what I've seen of it so far IS perfect!

Fortunately, I think PMDG is MORE anal and I would hazard a guess it will all work.Jack C

I can promise you with 100% certainty, that when the plane releases.......you will know the answers to these questions. I think its starting to get under their skin to have to keep answering these in depth questions. I have pretty much all of the same questions bouncing around in my little brain, but instead of asking them I decided to go on with my life, and wait until I can chain my self in front of my computer for a month and find out for my self. I'm sure if when you read this you will pick up Ryan's understandable tone.Ok, I have some flight testing to do with the 747-8 now, so I need to get going.

Considering every single one of those things has been modeled somewhere in the past in our products, yeah, I'm slightly annoyed lol...

LOL. In the end you would be left with nothing more than a fully functional hang glider.Jack C

Being a PMDG follower for the past five years I'm sure they follow or exceed Microsoft's motto "As Real As It Gets". Please just be patient

What with all this talk about a Woodpidgeon, I'm left wondering just where one puts the pogo stick in a Woodpidgeon.

Woodpidgeon indeed! The Fairey Fruitbat had a holder for the pogo stick, and another for an umbrella.DJ

STOP PRESS - New Special FeaturesPaintwork fades over time...Tyres (Tires), brakes and engines wear out and have to be purchased from online shop...One has to actually buy the fuel to use it..Income for flights is only generated by flying it for 18 hours per day...If one keeps asking when it will be released Ryan will clobber one with the said pogo stick...John Ellison
