December 14, 201015 yr I received the Flight Crew Operations Manuals today. When I purchased the MD-11, I also ordered the manuals. The MD-11 manuals were crisp and clear printing; absolutely no complaints whatsoever. However, the B737NGX are very disappointing. Several of the pages and one of the tab pages were nearly ripped from the binder. The printing looks like a very old and used toner cartridge was used. The diagrams are difficult to read due to the light printing and the text fades to nearly an unreadable condition throughout the entire set. I wouldn't mind if it was just a few pages, but both binders are unfortunatly consistantly gray printing and very poor print quality.I'm not sure if this is the "correct" place to voice my opinion, and if not, I apologize up front.I have purchased the JS41, B747 and MD-11 from PMDG and have had absolutely no complaints at all; they are all the flagship of the flight simulator community. I also intend to purchase the B767NGX when it is released. But the manuals that I received today are not the quality of PMDG I have come to expect. December 14, 201015 yr Commercial Member Ron-It sounds to me like you might have gotten a defective print.(These are professionally printed- no toner cartridges...)If you would please hit our support site and submit a ticket to Billing/Accounts with a photo- I'd like to see it...I can then work toward getting your manual replaced. December 14, 201015 yr Ron, I also purchased all of the MD11 manuals and the new 737NGX manuals and both sets are extremely sharp and professional quality. I see no difference in the high standard of quality that was used to produce both of these manuals and I worked at a print shop for seven years. Even the very tiny copyright print at the bottom of the page is very crisp.Bob Robert Yunque PilotEdge Ratings = CAT-11 (2016-09-13) I-11 (2016-10-23) V-3 (2016-08-01)
December 14, 201015 yr Very sorry to hear that!I would like to add though, that just like Mr. Young that my manuals are perfectly clear. I feel terrible for you though, because to see that after all of the anticipation must be very dissapointing. But, I'm positive that PMDG will have you fixed up in a jiffy!Take care! December 14, 201015 yr Author Hello Captain Randazzo,I have posted a couple of photos (taken at random from Volume 2) of my problem to the support portal (Case # 344-149A5609-D9EA). I am reluctant to post them here because I'm sure it is an extremely isolated event. However you folks decide to resolve this issue will be fine with me. I just want the manuals to be the same quality as the MD-11 manuals.Thank you Capt. Randazzo for your quick reply.Ron MusickPP-ASEL-IA Ron Musick, PP-ASEL-IA AOPA # 00642403
December 15, 201015 yr Author Question for Capt. Radazzo: I placed my support in the "Product Support" department instead of the "Billing/Accounts" department. Should I submit it again in the Billing/Account department? Thanks in advance for your help.Ron MusickPP-ASEL-IA Ron Musick, PP-ASEL-IA AOPA # 00642403
