(old) Documentary on flight sim

Featured Replies

For anyone thats interested, I found this on you tube. It profiles 5 or 6 people who love flight simulation and build simulators, I am sure many of you will have already seen it as its quite old. I reckon its filmed around 2003 but not sure

Thx, good find! Very interesting. Nice to see Peter of 'FSUIPC' being interviewed. Fairly old as he describes his software as freeware. :(

Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!)  Windows 10, (hold off for now on Win11),  EVGA 1300W PSU
Netgear 1Gbps modem & router, (3) 27" 1440 wrap-around displays
Full array of Bravo, Saitek and GoFlight hardware for the cockpit. Varjo and HP VR headsets for mixed reality.

Those were the days...and some of us still prefer older sims such as FS98, Fly!, FS2000 and FS2002! Pretty much worth the hard labour once the 737NGX is out for FSX. Dave.

I still have my ISA EPIC card and a Fly-It General Aviation Control Panel.......gathering dust.Haven't ran that thing since FS98, FS2000 days. ISA slots disappeared sometime after that.
