I run a 64-bit vista install fsx is on my C drive. ... i dont know what that has to do with my operating system
UAC ... all sorts of strange things happen as VISTA and win7 both believe the FS and addons are threats to the system.
My speed drop slowly for no reason its REX giving me winds that makr
again, from what you describe this is how FS real-weather works. there are known issues and problems when one transitions from one weather 'zone' to another.REX is reporting real-world stations and FS just cannot correctly represent the data. there is NO addon weather engine, or FSUIPC, that can 100% correct the faults in FSX. the best you hope for about 90% correction.
Im not using default fs weather im using REX
default is worse than any addon weather engine. again, there is NO addon weather engine, or FSUIPC, that can 100% correct the faults in FSX. the best you hope for about 90% correction.

I think it says a lot about this forum that somebody comes in with their first ever post calling REX 2 BS and having a generally crappy attitude and yet here are the great people at Avsim trying to help him.

You have product info but no order number ? If you go to the web shop where you purchased REX, you can get the order number ? Or you have installed your friends version ? I bet that is on the lips of everybody following this thread.
REX2 has been giving me problems since I got it 2 months ago. Dont get me wrong, The graphics are great but the one thing I cant handle, is the random speed drops that I get for no reason and the rude creator of REX who banned me from forums and refused to help a paying costumer. I use PMDG all the time and I set everything up like it's suppose to be. I get up to 10 thousand feet fine and and as soon as I get to 20 , my speed droppes and my climb becomes extremely slow then fast when speed jumps back up and ect. I did a KLAX to YSSY flight today and I ended up quiting 1 hour into the flight because my speed is just randomly dropping 1 kt after another til I hit stall. I do use FSUIPC and I do have it set up to run with REX and PMDG. Please Im looking for answer how to solve this as soon as possible so I can fly FS today without knowing Im just gonna stop like 20 minutes into flght. I ACTUALLY WANNA ENJOY FLIGHT SIM TODAY !!!! :(
Maybe you need a new system along with a new attitude. They are sold separately in a store near you.

I think the having no order number explains quite a few things here... And for future reference hardware specs should include more than just graphics card and RAM it should be:Brand name and model of computer if applicable, CPU, mobo, RAM, GPU, HDD, and OS. Probably in roughly that order.

How do you not have an order number?
Ask P.C aviator okay, I dont know.
I agree, REX2 is BS.......Beyond Spectacular. Anywho, I'd be interested in knowing if this has anything to do with REX or not. I had a similiar issue in FS9, but it turned out that something got goofy with FSUIPC, so I just reinstalled it.
I dont get your point, Are you with me or against me ?

I did and you never replied .

my order is -high priority: CPU, OSmuch much lower priority: GPU and memory (both RAM and on-board GPU)of very little value: RAM, MOBO, and HDfor FS it 90% of the game is CPU. you don't have the CPU nothing else will help as your game improvement is going to be small small small--

You gotta run everything as admin to work correctly so no it's not vista at this point.

Okay, your point ? Im ###### because I get answers that ive already replied to as unhelpful and unneeded and you guys still insist it's my computer when it's not.

No I dont. Its my copy. If you have nothing better to do than insult me then dont help.

PC Aviator will have confirmed your purchase with an order number. first you would have seen a www-page (that had a statement saying 'print this for your records' someplace at the top or bottom) before getting the download link. almost instantly you would have received an email dupicate of the www-page order confirmation.you can still access your order information by accessing your PC Aviator account.--

even if UAC is OFF the OS will still 'protect' the system ... even if you are 'the administrator'. this is just how the OS works. VISTA is a pain about this ... and so is win7.anyhow ... the issue isn't VISTA, or REX. the issue from what you descibe is the fault of FS's weather engine. re-read my post about the FSX weather engine limitations. no developer can overcome these faults in the simuation. the best that can be done are limited wind speed/direction and pressure changes.--

Well, get the order number then. Cannot be easier. Best to look a fool than have it confirmed. Confirmation is in the post

With you or against you? This isn't the hunt for Bin Laden here, it's an attempt on your part to resolve an issue that the developer has already offered to help you with by simply contacting him through e-mail. What sides are there? The only side I take is the side of the forums terms of use.
