Hello,I was just reading on the net, pmdg only has 9 employees. How can they do so much high quality work with only 9? That could explain why the ngx is putting some people down time wise? Do they have co-workers or helpers or anyone that gives them such data? One more, are the 9 employees all pilots and does anyone have any information of what kind of planes they have flown?Thanks so much but as part of a good product I would like to know about the employees experience etcJoe Barton

As I said in the other post. The number of employees doesn't mean better quality. Its skill

Well think about it. You have 9 people working on this thing all day. All of them programming or graphic designing, and one of them reading our posts. There is only so much that can be done in a day, and everyone must be on the same page, or the whole thing would fall apart. Nine people is larger than most small buisinessess. A trip to the Boeing plants with a ton of people would be quite a haslle as well.

I doubt Kelly Johnson had nine guys on his core team when he designed the twin mustang or U-2.

Joe,Several of us are real life pilots - Robert in particular has flown as a full ATP airline captain and is type rated on several of the aircraft we've made including the J41 and 747-400. As far as the quality of the work, we just have very talented programmers and artists here, that's really all it is. We do have the cooperation of Boeing on the NGX project, but it's not like they're doing it for us or anything.

Ryan, I can't recall hearing it from you guys, Is PMDG really a part-time company? I know you're in a band, but I figured that was on the side. And the way I understood it, the 'Captain' is no longer with the airlines. Is this true? If so, it is amazing that you accomplish so much with only part-time staff!All the best.

Yeah I thought they were pilots, are the planes pmdg have produced the planes they have flown in the real world. But they must have some people to help them maybe like boeing to help them. Also do they test there products on selected people or there own employees. One last question, how long does it take aerosoft to make a disk version of their products (in this case the ngx)?

I remember reading in an old post that PMDG employed some more people about two years ago and that they formed multiple teams (2? or 3?)that work in parallel. So I thought not all 9 of you are on the same project (ngx) and was guessing there is another thing, maybe that long forgotten Dash, silently moving on on the backstage :( Daniel
