March 28, 201115 yr Hey guys have been reading some old threads about this plane seemed to have some issues? I really would like a CX in my stable to fly. Have most of the issues been addressed now? Does the FADEC work now or do you still need that add on?I just got the Flight 1 Mustang and have fallen in love! Really would like a bigger corporate type jet in the stable! Thanks! A Walker
March 28, 201115 yr I am not aware of anything outta sorts with her.The FADEC works just fine for me. There are instructions provided how to make the feature work. Not sure where the confusion is /was regarding an addon for the FADEC.No extra addon needed except FSUIPC. She is nice. The Mustang is nice too. There was a great tutorial for the X (not free). Last I knew, it is not available anymore.I am not sure what else to say to try and help answer your questions. There are others that will prolly post their views also. Chad Dillon aka: Dusty (PAEN)
March 28, 201115 yr Author FSUIPC? What is that? Sorry if I am a noob! I have been doing MS FS since the original but I am a noob when it comes to add ons etc. I have the PDMG 747,MD-11.JS-41 Flight 1 Mustang and P51. ES, SR20 and 22 Turbo. Any help would be appreciated! Will it make the FADEC work like in the mustang where the plane is controlling the throttles automatically in T/O CLB and CRS. A Walker
March 28, 201115 yr No need to apologize for not knowing something. Can't know everything ;)Ehh FSUIPC (www.schiratti.com/dowson.html)...it's a module. Many of us feel it is invaluable for FS. Without it, you can not use the Citation X. It is imperative to have for makingthe FADEC work. The Mustang is not dependent on FSUIPC for the FADEC. Different programming method AFAIK.The throttle control in the X is set manually by you...the pilot.Hope this answers your questions a lil bit. Chad Dillon aka: Dusty (PAEN)

Allow us to help...The only reliance on FSUIPC is the FADEC operation.A registered version is required to be on the machine. The real CX and our counterpart do not have Autothrottle. We hope that folks no longer confuse FADEC with Autothrottle. Without FSUIPC the CX works just as any other FS aircraft which does not contain FADEC.
March 28, 201115 yr The real CX and our counterpart do not have Autothrottle.Wow! I never new that. I don't own the ES addon, so can't comment.I'm just expressing my surprise that an aircraft of such caliber doesn't have an autothrottle.(sorry to butt in) Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

March 28, 201115 yr CitationX great aircraft. I check back at their website for new aircraft often. ;)
March 28, 201115 yr I'm just expressing my surprise that an aircraft of such caliber doesn't have an autothrottle. Why? The C750 is a an older plane as far as business jets go.Anyway, I own the ES version as well. Highly recommended, the fastest thing in your hangar. March 28, 201115 yr Aaaah, but you're assuming I have knowledge of such aircraft :( It's SUCH an aircraft to LOOK AT, for those without such knowledge, it's easy to assume it's considerably more modern. March 28, 201115 yr Author So with out that add on you can overspeed the turbines and stuff? I guess I know that the FADEC is a digital system for controlling the turbines so I dont understand what is the difference with or without the program lol. Do you get better gas mileage or does it cause them to work better with the FMC?All I have to do is install the program to FSX and Im good? How much does it run didnt see a price on his site. March 28, 201115 yr Moderator I was asking about the FSUIPC.It is sold through simMarket:http://secure.simmarket.com/pete-dowson-fsuipc4.phtmlKeep in mind that FSUIPC is a very highly configurable utility. It is truly the "Swiss Army Knife" of addon utilities. To fully describe what it can do would take many pages... :( Fr.
