Very similar to this topichttp://forum.avsim.net/topic/332115-strange-problem-magdecbgl-problem/It happened to me after editing AFCAD with ADE9x but I have been told how to solve it anyway. This, however, happen to me after installing proflight emulator. What I did is install PFE (latest version), sound pack. Download latest MakeRwys and finally rebuild PFE database.I have had this twice before, first time I had to reinstall FS, and 2nd time I managed to restore my hard drive.ifly.jpg

  1. PFE is standalone software.
  2. MakeRunways is an independent piece of software that analyses your various airport data files and produces a list of facilities.
  3. Rebuilding of the PFE database consists of importing the above data.

I really cannot see there is anything there that would interfere with any Flight Simulator file or wreck your hard drive. I think perhaps you have something else that keeps affecting your setup.John

I flew one route successfully right before installing PFE. After rebuild PFE database. I use Proflight2000 to convert my flightplan. For some reasons what I did really affect my FS.

It's not PFE! It only works from what it imports via makerwys. There are instances of ADE clashing with old afcads etc and perhaps your scenery needs re-prioritising. It's nothing to do with your hard disk. And, if you have installed PFE corrrectly then it is the feed data that is wrong. Also make sure that your sim wypt database is up to date. An imported flightplan which contains a wypt that the sim doesn't know about also causes problems.vololiberista

I don't have ADE9x installed so it couldn't be the cause this time.Sorry but what you mean feed data? I don't realy understand :( I use FSBUILD to build my flightplan all the time, only this time when using PFE I have to convert it. Could this proccess make a mess in my data?

Have you considered the possibility that it's an FSBuild/iFly/Navigraph issue? While all three are great products, the combination is not 100% stable yet.

HelloWhat Navdata cycle are you using for Fsbuild and the i-Fly?

Be careful, I uninstalled PFE and it deleted some of the system 32 .dlls.

Whenever I install and use PFE, I get this trouble, Several times already so I'm really sure it's from PFE but I don't know exactly where. Could be from the way I put my flightplan into.

Both AIRAC 1104, iFly 1104 v2

Well, uninstall it didn't work before. I had to reinstall FS and/or recover my system.

many flightplan programmes use up to date airac cycles which often means that there are new wypts/deleted wypts or renamed wypts. In all cases you need to update your sim database. Go here.vololiberista

So I should download and install "MagDec_Update.rar" before using PFE?

So why do you keep installing it? Because you like messing with a stable FS environment?:Big Grin:Seriously, there are a lot of posts in this thread that talk about all kinds of (un)related things.Let's start with the beginning. Your iFly aircraft is showing incorrect distances/waypoint locations. Are you using the latest version of the iFly 737? It's at 2.1. Apparently you're using the latest navcycle for it, so that's good, but check to be sure.Next, how did you make the flightplan that's showing in the screen shot? Did you enter it manually? Did you export it from FSBuild (using the iFly 737 export option)? Do you get this problem with one specific flightplan, with more? Are the problems part of a particular SID or STAR? What version of FSBuild are you using? The latest is 2.4.0.17, available here. Many issues have been adressed, including iFly ones, so make sure you have this version.Focus on this and don't be distracted by everything else. To rule out issues with FS itself, fly a default aircraft and see if you encounter any issues? If not, there's nothing wrong with FS...

Yeah I'm getting bored because of the default ATC and want to changeThanks I'll be more specific-I'm using the latest version of iFly and FSBUILD and PFE and AIRAC.-I export my flightplan(s) from FSBUILD (I do this mostly) and this issue happens to all around the world and every flightplan.-Just check may BASE folder in fs2004/scenery. I already have the latest magdec. Before installing PFE, I don't have this problem. After installing and using it, I get trouble. Restore my computer, then the problem's gone.

What happens if you go back to the default magdec file? And how do default aircraft behave? Make a flightplan with the default flightplanner, load it up in a default aircraft, what happens? Also, can you attach the flightplan that's showing in the capture? So the iFly .FLTPLAN file.

I suggest then, if you are certain, you take it up with the PFE developer on the On-course Software forum:http://www.ocs-support.co.uk/forums/index.phpJohn
