Yup, already recommended that one, no flight sim hangar is complete without a Twotter, and the Aerosoft one is a great FSx add-on - it is great fun to stick the props in reverse as you squeeze it in between the trees of some back of beyond dirt strip. It's a testament to the Twotter's utility that there aren't too many aeroplanes that were actually put back into production years after the production lines originally closed down because there was such a demand for used ones, but that is indeed the case with the Twotter, with a new version having been produced too (which hopefully Aerosoft will have a go at doing to supplement their excellent rendition of the original). Just don't forget your earplugs.Al

The AS Twotter is alright... it's a bit dated in terms of quality addons imho. I never fly my copy so if there's a way to get it to you you can have it.I forgot about the Kodiak - I bought that one too but it was tough on my older system so now I'll have to reinstall it.

I actually think the less than spectacular VC textures in the Aerosoft Twotter kind of add to it looking a bit rough and ready as per the real aeroplane.Al

I guess I can see that POV... but I never fly it. I checked out the installer and it looks like there's a serial so I'm not sure I could easily transfer it over to the OP.

For speed in true bush planes, my favorites are the Carenado Grand Caravan and the Lionheart Quest Kodiak.

Lionheart's Quest Kodiak.
Another vote for Lionheart's Quest Kodiak. It's a great little a/c for exploring the PNW and is pretty quick and has STOL capability. Comes with 10 different models, and also feature 7 different paint schemes, so you get a pretty wide variety to choose from.Another thing I like about the Kodiak is that its VERY easy on FPS and doesn't draw a lot of system resources since the PNW can be demanding depending on your settings.More info here http://www.lionheartcreations.com/Kodiak.html BTW, sometimes you can catch it on sale for $15. The Flightsim Store has it for $25.

I think we should let Ckeatin chime back in. Bush flying is generally not "fast". The real planes used on coastal BC for bush planes are floats or amphibious. The include Cessna Caravan, deHavilland Beavers, Otters - Twin and Single engine, Grumman Goose and a couple of others. There are some other types that fly into dirt strips but do not land on water such as Piper Cherokee.Anyway, agree with other posts, this is FS do whatever, it is a game. If your looking for real, fast is not smart especially in coastal BC it can be a good way to die.Never in my life have a seen a Piper Cub on coastal BC inlet.80% of flying of bush flying in my region is the Beaver and Goose with some Cessna thrown in for good measure. They are work horses, highly maneuverable and can handle the horrid weather when it arrives.Otters are mainly uses on the commercial routes between Vancouver and Victoria and a few coastal situations. Bella Coola to Vancouver. Anaheim Lake to Bella Coola - stuff like that.

One more vote for the Kodiak.
I never really knew much about the Kodiak even after owning it for a year or so but found some cool info about it on their website.http://www.questaircraft.com/As well as a pretty interesting youtube video showing a langing on a grass strip in the mountains at Allison Ranch, Idaho.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQ_mciV6AvE&feature=fvwrelThe Kodiak really is a fansatic a/c for flying in the mountains, landing on short grass runways or on lakes with the float package. Definatley some things you wouldn't want to do with and a/c with retractable gear. Plus you can get from point A to point B at a relatively fast clip which is what makes it a great a/c for me since I dont like doing 50 to 100nm flights at 120kts or less.

If you set the time of the sim to anywhere between either 1989–1993, or 2001–2009, and then fly a VC-25, that is the fastest Bush plane you can get :( Al

I'd like to suggest that the F1 PC-12 would also be a good candidate for a fast bush plane.
