Does it just make the camera while in the VC act more realistically? Derek RogersPC Specs: Intel i7-4790K 4.6GHz : 16GB RAM : GTX 970 4GB
May 24, 201115 yr I guess if I already have EZCA I don't need this one. Or am I wrong? Tomaz Drnovsek My FSX Videos My AVSIM Gallery
May 24, 201115 yr I guess if I already have EZCA I don't need this one. Or am I wrong? You don't need it if you can work out how to tweak some of Ezdok's more advanced functions. The developer of Ezdok sometimes puts some very useful info onto Youtube so it's worth checking out.Bryan.
May 24, 201115 yr It looks interesting, but it does look like it only model vibration and no other head movement. I.E. Landing you dont see the head dip when the wheels hit the deck.Tom Tom Why not read some useful tips and tricks - http://forum.avsim.n...22#entry1965722
May 24, 201115 yr Just had a look at the Promotional Video, and looks interesting. I note however in the video that it appears to be only the 'plane' shaking, and not the external view at all. This might seem obvious and indeed correct to most, but I have built my own 737-800 cockpit, using a D. Box Motion platform (pilots seat only), I am wondering if this program might offer me any benefits? Anyone have any thoughts on this one?
May 24, 201115 yr I haven't tried the product but after having watched the promotional video I can't possibly see a reason why anyone would prefer that over EZCA (unless you really don't want to spend the extra few $).
May 25, 201115 yr Compatible with TIR?No, it's not: after reading these posts, the sales blurbs, the fact that I hate having to set up b*** cameras and zoom positions with EZCA - and considering it's only $16:50, I bought it. THEN I found out - after it didn't work with TIR, and after finding their forum, because their email server was down and my two emails were returned - that it's not compatible with TrackIR. Apparently they are working on making this so, but that's not much comfort: I'm only mollified by the fact that I'm not the only one who should have asked that question first. The issue is going to be - TrackIR and EZCA both utilize SimConnect, I think, and "RCE" uses FSUIPC, so how is it going to interact with TIR?? I sense some harsh emails going back and fore in the near future..... :( i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
May 26, 201115 yr I sense some harsh emails going back and fore in the near future..... :(I would tend to agree. I got it and it works well with my Carenado aircraft but just tried it with my iFly 737 and the PMDG 747 and cannot use the panning feature of my joystick in the VC. It's stuck looking straight forward. But, if I stop the aircraft, the panning feature works perfectly. I can also use the panning feature of my joystick in 2d mode but then, the effects don't work there. I have the latest version of FSUIPC installed as required in the manual. I just updated today to the latest version and no joy. So it's not just TrackIR that is incompatible.Best regards,Jim

May 28, 201115 yr Yikes! They continue to update! I thought I had the latest but didn't. The joystick works. Great effect! Thanks!Best regards,JimYep: 1.3 was just released, Jim, and from a support email to me this morning they also "are waiting the sdk from trackir to mail it to us.. Then it will be a 5min (internal code) for us." That might be a bit ambitious, but it looks as if the folks that have trouble getting on top of EZCA will have a very viable and simple alternative i.e. one geared solely to creating cockpit bumps, grinds and vibrations without the aggravation of creating cameras, messing up zoom levels and so on. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
