Here's an interesting wager, will the LevelD 757 arrive before the NGX? LOL!

Haha... I would be confident enough in PMDG and to put money on them.

Best regards, happy flying,

Wallace

My money is on PMDG.
For Duke or the LDS? PMDG is gonna be hard pressed to get the NGX out in 7 days.

That thing has been in "development" for what, three years, and there has been one picture of it? A very very very closeup of the instrument panel. If the LD 75 comes out before the NGX that will be the shock of the century right there. Or at least a very close second behind if we all find out the Mayans were right all along come late 2012.

They're talking about Duke Nukem Forever haha - the most infamous piece of vaporware in PC gaming history. In development for 14 years and it comes out finally next Tuesday. I'll be buying it regardless of how good it is - Duke3D was my first PC game when I was a freshman in high school - I was a sophomore when they started making DNF... insane. It is going to beat the NGX unfortunately. Then again, we're only 3 years in, not 14 haha.

Amen to that Ryan... No matter how good or bad, I will be getting my copy. I can only hope that there is some cheesy remake of the first level of that game. That would be the icing on the cake.

The intro video for the demo had scenes from the first game spliced with scenes from DNF, so it's possible. If it's not already in there, I'm sure people in the mod scene are going to just remake all the levels from the 1st game in it.

Strangely enough the only game I have been playing over the last week is Doom right from the first episode. Played via the JDoom engine with new textures, 3D models and the PSX sound/music pack. One of the first coding projects that I made was a front-end game launcher for Doom back in 1998.First PC I ever had was a 286 that was given to me by a family member. Included was a box of disks one of which was marked Duke Nukem. In my naivety I installed it thinking it was Duke 3D. How disappointed to find out it was the 2D side scrolling game that came out before Duke 3D. :( When I saw the title of this thread I also assumed there was another offering from RealAir - not that I currently own any of the Dukes

Ah, Duke Nukem. Brings back memories. You guys remember Wolfenstein?

On that topic though, you should get both of them - they're great, among my most used GA aircraft in FSX.

First Duke was my favorite game also in 1996 or so (don't recall the exact year). In the summer I was working in a book-store (high school age), and during the times when there were no customers in the PC section (that I was responsible for), I was shooting Duke in the back room lol :)Tero
