July 13, 201114 yr Yeah guys seriously, relax. The thread starter is new and didn't know that Ryan doesn't really like these requests. I plan on flying the airplane in peace but not everyone is so up to date on announcements or forums threads.FSXman1000, I don't think there will that animation but it might be simulated systems/reactions wise. But what do I know, I'm just guessing haha.Honestly Wallace, if he never returned, I would not blame him.
July 13, 201114 yr I did not see he has made less than half a dozen posts, but how long does it take to do a quick search? Matthew Bellette
July 13, 201114 yr I did not see he has made less than half a dozen posts, but how long does it take to do a quick search? You ever tried using a search function on a forum? It rarely leads to results. And who is he hurting? Really? It is a pretty resonable question, if I land hard, will the tires blow? And if the NGX does not simulate such things, the original poster should know, as it has already been mentioned in this thread, that FSPassengers adds this aspect to the simulator. I have been frequenting AVSIM and the PMDG forums for many years. I seldom make posts primarily due to responses like this. The lack of civility on these boards is truly disheartening.Steven Cherry
July 13, 201114 yr I wasn't trying to push the envelope, just a simple question about the failures of the NGX. They already have implemented the duct overheat for the window heaters and if you leave the doors open while the packs are on the temperature in the forward cabin begins to rise. I'm not looking at this failure to be mandatory in the NGX, I'm just curious if they will make the external failures as detailed as the internal system failures...I'm just as excited about the NGX release as the next guy, but there's no need to act like this. I've just joined today and only have made a couple of posts and the second I post a question people are already harassing me and making jokes... :(Listen, this particular forum (nothing against PMDG, not their fault) seems to have the most numerous younger and often time immature posters. It's kind of the "bad seed" leet hax0r owned forum (again no offense to PMDG). It's not quite as bad as a "normal" game forum, like World of Warcraft which I don't play, but have seen the forums, but it's almost that bad. Not sure when it got this way, I've been a PMDG customer since the start long long ago, I think we can attribute it to the fact that they put out such quality products that their forums have become a hotspot.Having said that, AVSIM is a great place for all levels and age ranges of folks who love everything flight sim. Don't let this experience put a bad taste in your mouth, the rest of AVSIM's forums are much more polite. Finally, I think you ask a completely valid question, I just had a tire blowout in real life the other day, had to leave the plane on the runway, because the tire completely separated from the rim. It certainly happens quite a bit in real life, though I think with two tires on each strut, the effect would be minimal other than a flat tire sensation throughout the aircraft. July 13, 201114 yr it seems to be all the "newbies" asking all these question. Can they please read back all the posts by the PMDG team so they can know what to expect Joe Barton

July 13, 201114 yr I don't chime in to these discussions very often, but when I first started using these forums in mid to late 2009 the amount of maturity was far beyond many other forums I had visited, even some real world aviation ones (pprune), but since late lastyear everyone on here has gotten so tense and snappy. The only reason for that seems to be the NGx delays, and in the last few days since wide beta was announced, I have noticed a slight impropvement, but I don't expect it to get better untill the plane is in our hands.Lastly IMHO the devs should make a NGX FAQ sticky so new members have a place to Start regarding these frequent questions, and if what they are wondering is not in the FAQ maybe recomend a search before posting.

July 13, 201114 yr Great, all the 13 your olds on VATSIM will have something else to waste everyone's time with.
July 13, 201114 yr Give the guy a break... this dogpiling is pathetic.+1. You guys need to chill a bit.... David
July 13, 201114 yr People should be more respectful, especially to new posters. I usually stay out of these arguments but really this has gone too far. All the poster asked was a simple question, so what if it was not right the question to ask, he is a new poster and people should be respectful of that. He probably does not know what are the acceptable questions to ask and what are not. With these responses I would be surprised if he came back to the forum, as this is truly unacceptable treatment of a new member or any member for that matter and some of you really need to grow up.
