May 21, 201214 yr Okay...it's apparent noone else wants to paint this livery as it's been requested for quite some time, so I'll give it a shot. I'm not fond of painting -800 or -900 birds at the moment. I would think a -700 with winglets would be closer to what you would want. Willing to give it a shot on a -600 or -700. Registration preference? WOW... Thank you Steve!!!! The Registration preference is N651TX. The only reason that I am asking for the -800 is that I do not own (yet) the -600/-700. Well if you don't have the expansion pack, then it's probably not a good idea to paint that in a -600/-700. Let me play around with it this coming week. I might do it in a -800 instead since you didn't specify the -600 or -700 in anticipation of getting that add-on down the road. Steve StubbsUSAF (retired)
May 21, 201214 yr For the Southwest fans... Two updates and two new ones. New colors and bump maps for dirty luv. New Mexico One has been cleaned up and I corrected the flap fairing and SATCOM color, corrected the missing over-wing lights and applied the new color palette to the tail. For the new ones, I made my own "Free bags" decal and applied it to a clean repaint. And last, I'm going to finish up Lone Star One the best I can. It's far from perfect. The star needs a lot of work, but I can't do any more with it. I'll get these uploaded over the next week. Chris Hicks
May 21, 201214 yr always always and always southwest repaint.... ok it's nice but please not all the time Bizzy dee
May 21, 201214 yr Hi guys, At the beggening I have to say that all those repaints which you create are absolutely stunning. In fact I was wondering if any of you could find some time to make my request come true. What I would like to ask for is an AMC Airlines livery for the 737-800 WL. I was hoping for having this jet in my collection, as this was one of the first aircrafts I have ever flown. After checking out other repaints in this topic, I guess that this one isn't as complicated as some others. Here are some photos: Best regards, Matthew Stewart

Here are some photos: Mathew, That's an interesting livery and one that would not be hard to paint as long as the tail logo could be found or done easily. My plate is getting pretty full for a while, Maybe one of the other painters might pick it up. I did want to respond to your posting that I do like it...just can't work it in at the moment between the public and private requests...lol. Steve Steve StubbsUSAF (retired)
May 22, 201214 yr always always and always southwest repaint.... ok it's nice but please not all the time I paint the planes I love and will continue to do so. Thank you for your feedback though. Looks great Chris! Chris, thanks so much for Lone Star One! I can't wait to fly it! Super Chris :) Thanks guys! Steve, I love all the attention you're giving the -600. It's been the neglected child of the family, though I love flying it. Chris Hicks

Taking a small break from the Western Bud Light bird. Working on the National and Frontier models the next couple of days. I'm going to try and incorporate the bottom of the Western Bud Light aluminum into the Frontier paint. I think it will turn out well. Haven't put it in FSX yet to see. One of these days I need to do my TWA in a -700 and do that U.S. Airways dark blue top paint I've put off for months now. I have a half dozen in work at the moment...lol. May 22, 201214 yr For those of you waiting on the Frontier -600, here's an initial in-porgress picture. It might get uploaded before the second Western bird. The black Frontier text is not finalized yet. It's just a place holder for now. I need to match up the original font style. Steve StubbsUSAF (retired)
May 22, 201214 yr I for one love the Southwest liveries. I cant stop flying that 600 you made. Great job Chris! That Republic is really cool too, Steve. Brings back memories... My grandparents used to live in a tiny town in Michigan and once a day the Republic DC-9 would fly in. It was a big deal for a town of a few thousand to have jet service and it was cool to watch that old 9 take off and land from such a small field. Will have to give it a go with this 736. Jack
