Will my computer run the PMDG 737NGX?

Specs are :Processor: Intel® Core2 CPU 6600 @ 2.40GHZ 2.39 GHZInstalled memory (RAM) 2.00GBSystem Type: 32-Bit operating system I am running Windows 7 32Bit

Hello Newbie...,My system is E8500 not overclocked, 4GB of Ram Ati 4870 standard clock and Intel and OCZ SSDs.I use ENB HDR and external FPS limiter set to 20FPS and FSX set on almost max settings regarding scenery, except of water, which is only at 1.Using ASE,UT,GE and REX and FPS is most of the time stable 20 with MD11 and J41, at high density payware airports is goes down to 18 sometimes, with this PC config I'm happy with how it works. So I'm sure NGX will work great on my system. I'm also flying IVAO and I'm not having any performance issues.747PMDG brings my FPS down. So that is my experience. Rado

I have a similar system as djmads does.

Actually, now that you mention it, I may need to defrag it and run a scandisk.Whistle.gif On a side note, I think people are taking this WAAYY too seriously. It's almost disturbing.Counting down the minutes.Asking if an i7 will run it with a video card that an average person would need to take out a mortgage for...or...sell a kidney for.Hitting F5 every 10 minutesAsking if their monitor is "worthy" of displaying the panel? (That's a good one, btw.)Spending upwards of $2000 on PC upgrades.etc... Sure, it's a hot piece of software, but damn, get out and enjoy the day a little. I'm not trying to rain on everyone's parade, but, for me, there are far more important things in one's life. This is supposed to be "enjoyment". A hobby. Not something that alters the short term course of your life to the point that work, financial and personal life suffers.I haven't flown FSX in 2 years and sure, I'll probably end up getting this 737 to break the drought. It looks great. And I have it on good authority that it flies great. But if I get a personal guarantee that it will be released as I'm going to pick up my daughter from school, I'm going to wait until I get back home to get it.Just my opinion. Please, as you all were.Whistle.gif

i couldnt have said it etter myself. I also think tbat some people just want everyone to know how much they spent on their pc and what they have in it.

FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠

Exactly. Glad someone has said it. The hysteria is, let's say, a lot over the top. Applause.gif

Some people who has been here for quite some time wouldnt mind it being delayed for some time, because we've been through it all,and then those who signed up yesterday because they thought it was out today they kill it.Sad thing is that those who joined recently wont be back on here until the T7 is about to be released and follow in that pattern... Until they need help of course :(

I am only asking because mainly I get good frames but I was just wondering how a PMDG would run because I have never invested in a PMDG aircraft.
