Never fear, the Majestic Q400 is going to be an absolute peach of an aeroplane. There's a massive gap in the market for this bird and I feel PMDG are missing a great opportunity by building the 200/300, but hey, it's their train set ;)

I don't believe PMDG is "missing" anything. They know what they are doing and I'm sure that they are very aware of what other developers are releasing.

Can we stop asking about the Dash 8 and 777 and just enjoy the NGX? Please?

I have to think that they are more aware of what is going on in the flight sim world than either you or I, but your welcome to your opinion, I just don't think that it is theirs.

I really hope PMDG would concider creating an expansion to the Dash-8 to include the -100.. the little warrior is serving dozens of airports in Norway in any weather condition.. I would, and I think I speak for many more, greatly appretiate that one

Personally, I hope it's not the -300. If it is, I won't be buying it. I'll wait for the 777 unless it includes the Q400.

Well if the 200 is done it is somewhat pointless doing the 100. Granted there are some differences between the two aircraft. What would be good is if the 200 or if you put it so a 100 is done that both EFIS and electromagnetic cockpits be simulated. With the 200 you get the best of both worlds between a 100 and 300. The 200 has the airframe of the 100 but has PW123 engines on it (same engine that the 300 uses - in essence the 300 is a stretched 100). We used the 200s them with no problems in the Florida market and they performed exceptionally well. Although the 100s were used as well they were more prone to weight restrictions due to the high temps in the region. Whichever model PMDG chooses to model I know it will be done to the level and probably better than the J41. Well we have seen what the 737 has offered thus far!!

Let's hope it's a PMDG Dash 7 and a PMDG L-1011 or Convair 880!

LOL. Would be great if PMDG made one of the bigger Airbus planes A330/A340 etc. Anyway, PMDG are making the Q300 which Im very happy because AirNZ Q300's always fly over my house to land at NZTG runway 07. Would be awesome to do this in FSX.
