Yeah, as far as water goes, I had this Terrain Terrain, Pull up pull up thing happen once on approach into Rwy 25L at EDDF, default airport, UTX, GEX, FSGenesis mesh, ST. Water nowhere around except maybe for a few rivers.

What you saw is possibly the regular GPWS warning. Question is whether you saw red blocks where no red blobs should be, eg over water or other flat terrain?

I was at 4,000' on the ILS with no issues at all when the warning came on. It stayed on during the whole approach and after landing. I was trying to remember if I got the red blobs as I was typing the last post but I didn't have the Terrain feature turned on at the time as no need to eat up frames in that location with that feature. Had the Terrain feauture been turned on, I probalby would have had the red blobs. A second flight the nevt day into that airport did not trigger this alarm so I didn't worry about it until I saw this thread.

I was on approach to KSAN 09 (from SLC but out over the Pacific at the time) and got the TERRAIN TERRAIN PULL UP and the Red blob in front of me...even though I was 8 miles from land and at 2600ft. This was at about 1h35m of flight time. The only add-ons I'm running are REX for textures, ASE for weather, and UT2 for traffic. This was the first time this happened. I have also done a KATL - KCVG and a KBOS - KCLE segment with no terrain issues. Adam

I have had a warning as well yesterday. Was landing at LEBL and sure enough, everything was red and a big red block always in front of me! So the EGPWS is definately bugged.

Same issue when approaching into Portland rwy 28 L tonight.

I have no idea where the red and yellow blocks close to the aircraft symbol come from. But generally I think that the terrain updating in the ND is behind the real situation which is probably more the case the longer the flight is. So probably that are the alps what you can see on your ND when you are approaching LEBL because the terrain ND is still "thinking" that you are currently over the alps ;-) Anyway, at least it would be in line with my yesterday`s findings as I was approaching Lanzarote after cruising 1,5h over the sea and that time the terrain ND showed nothing because it was probably behind the actual situation which means it shows the situation over the sea, 1h ago or so ....

Yeah, I'm thinking you are right. Either it is way behind, or its positioning is off overtime like a shift.

That could be it. But I am wondering if no tester from PMDG did a longer flight with this aircraft. Sure they should have found that problem.

The only problem I see with that is that I had it happen on a flight from KSFO to KPDX. That's just a little over an hour. Then I flew a 3 and a half hour flight to anchorage, and it didn't happen on that one. It's so strange.

I have found i have had no trouble with it even after long flights when i am using a hud version enabled. I then had the troubles when i deaactivated it on my next few flights then did another trial with it on today and had no problems. Perhaps its a glitch with is?Liam

No comment from PMDG on this one?

Today I approach in LEBL (Aerosoft scenery) and had the same terrain warnings while flying over the sea. Red blob from 8000 feet down to 3000 feet. It was the ALBER 1Tango arrival 25R I used. I just manually disabled the terrain system.

Every single time I fly KSFO-KPDX I get this warning. Maybe it is related to flight plan?
