August 17, 201114 yr Many flights later I would say that there is a general terrain ND shift which correlates with the lenght of the flight which happens on every flight. If you get a terrain warning depends only from how far or at which situation the shift currently is. In my opinion the EGPWS is not very helpful currently but there are of course more important issues to fix right now. Nevertheless I hope that PMDG will find a solution. Cheers! Holger Mute
August 17, 201114 yr I get this exact same problem every time I'm coming in on the RNAV for runway 19R at KLAS and on short approach for runway 16 at LOWW...Same exact problem even when I'm considerably higher. Tweaking? http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Wl-qmEZHrBc/UAV71na0KQI/AAAAAAAAB7Q/x_lUuMxJSto/s320/aint-nobody-got-time-for-that.gif
August 17, 201114 yr Commercial Member Guys this should be fixed in hotfix 3 - try it and let us know if you still see it. Alex found the problem, it is indeed a map shift type thing based on how long the flight is and the exact angle you're passing over the terrain cells at.
