Forgive me for asking what is probably a very basic question but what do you mean with mouse and no mouse? Are you unhooking your mouse from the computer and only using your yoke?

the mouse cursor gets hidden if you leave it untouched.

Okay, I wasn't sure if that is what was meant or not. I can't say I see a real difference on my older system.

Some say not to load multiple complex aircraft per FSX session. Maybe loading the 747 first "breaks" or "disables" something within FSX or the NGX and that is why you see a FPS boost.

Zoom in to see the fps counter. The video has crappy quality, you still want me to upload?
It's nice to see a video, and if you don't mind me asking what airport and gate you have loaded your NGX. I just want to compare results on mys system. Thanks for doing this. Evan Banalian.

Loan,Can you do me a favour and try the settings I have changed for you below. Those settings with a // are pre SP2 except for Bufferpools. so I don't know why ******* puts them in there. Your autogen very high . Your really overtaxing your system. Try what I have below then load NGX without loading the 747 first. Also, at the top, ******* remarks, HT1, so you have Hyperthreading turned on which is not helping. Also you have AA ticked in FSX, instead of Nvidia Inspector controlling AA. //[bufferPools] <<<<Remark out for testing//UsePools=0 [JOBSCHEDULER]AffinityMask=14 AUTOGEN_DENSITY=3DETAIL_TEXTURE=1LOD_RADIUS=4.500000MESH_COMPLEXITY=100MESH_RESOLUTION=25//SWAP_WAIT_TIMEOUT=2<<<<RemoveTEXTURE_RESOLUTION=29WATER_EFFECTS=4[sCENERY]DAWN_DUSK_SMOOTHING=1IMAGE_COMPLEXITY=5LENSFLARE=1//MAX_ASYNC_BATCHING_JOBS=3<<<<<Remove//SmallPartRejectRadius=4.0<<<<<<<<Remove

Hi, I am definitely sure that I'm not overtaxing the system, I've mentioned in another thread that the frames don't vary much my changing the level of autogen - or anything else actually. I tried turning HT off and it made absolutely no difference. The bufferpools=0 was added by me and it helps a looooong way maintaining smooth flight without those dreaded microstutters. AA is unticked in FSX, using inspector. I'm going to try the rest of your tips later on and report back tongue.png

I just selected the first heavy park spot in the drop down menu for KPAE. Here's the video.. doesn't show much besides how to do this.. sorry for the bad quality.

WOW.... we need to know what's happening there. I'm wondering if you are using any traffic UT2 or any other add-on. Thanks again.

32 or something and 36 are really the same?? Re-installing with the latest installer gave you 12 FPS more?? Still not seeing any concrete evidence. I don't really see any point in positing a video of that quality with such vague info.

Hi hellfire, I'm sure I understand you very well, but there is no need for Loan to make up numbers there, I know the video is not good quality and a better one helps to see more details. The screen shots there gives you numbers as well other people reported gain in FPS.

I was looking at your video. You were measuring framerate while aircraft was initializing (15seconds I believe). Framerate is always higher in that portion. Please make a check of the framerate when the green box disappears.

My fsx is mostly made of vanilla, only pmdg and texture addons.

I said the video was not of much use but you guys still wanted me to upload so there it is, I know it's bad quality.

Look at my screenshots on the last page, they were taken after the initialization.

There's something wrong with your system, man. Here is what I get:NGX directly: 52747->NGX:747: 60+ (vsync kicking in)NGX: 52 Same parking spot, no weather. Unlimited frames. All same, all same.

Can I see your config? Maybe that could fix it.

Tried, no difference.

Could it be that those 600 MHz make all the difference? I'm running 4.4.. which wasn't a huge difference from 4.8 so I don't really know.. For a weird thing, I get the same performance than you, but in Frankfurt instead.... and in Hong Kong... and in New York too. I'm lost, this makes absolutely no sense.
