Both... to no avail.... I tried them before throwing my toys... I know what it is like in the support industry, you want the user to at least try some fixes... which i have stated in the support ticket... Its just frustrating when you get no response....

Have you tried reinstalling the aircraft, cleaning the accepted gauges in FSX, and then reinstalling from scratch the aircraft, latest hotfix, and then the liveries? Also pull the scenery sliders back (Robert mentioned this in his sticky). That's the best I can do.

if you have the time and possibility maybe formating your pc and have a clean fsx install might help ...just install win(eng ver)+sound+gfx+chipset and fsx+acc or sp2 and then pmdg ... it would surprise me if this doesn't help ...

Have you allowed for time zone differences, that they might need sleep and there may be a few pilots ahead of you in line?

That, and calling people out by name for something they likely haven't even caused never puts them in a mood to help...

what are your system spec's? what kind of addons do you have? Did you try and reinstall FSX? How is your hardrive? Defragged lately? What kind of tweaks do you have in your FSX.CFG? Do you run on a 32 bit or 64 bit cpu? I disagree with how you call out the PMDG employees. You didn't pay these guys to troubleshoot your PC for you. Obviously the NGX runs fine on most peoples systems and doesn't freeze when they load it. This should indicate you have a problem somewhere within your system. How is this anyone at PMDG's fault? PMDG carefully added the minimum and maximum specs to run this simulation. Does your PC fully meet these specifications? These are some of the troubleshooting questions you should be asking yourself. If you notice none of them have to do with posting on the forums and calling out PMDG employees Loser.gif Guthrie Z

Hey all, I am sorry for calling you guys out on the forum, I was just frustrated at the time and apologise. I was able to activate it yesterday, I am now able to select the plane in the aircraft select menu (however it does take extremely long to appear in the preview window) then when I go to Fly Now, it loads, I hear the sounds for a second or two, thereafter the game freezes. My system specs are:i7 2600k @4.5Ghz4gigs 1600Mhz DDR3Geforce 560tiFSX installed under d:\games\fsx (500Gb Seagate 7200rpm drive)Win7 Ultimate 64bit with UAC switched off I have tried uninstalling all my add-ons like myTraffic 2010, Rex 2, Radar Contact, FSUIPC, the PMDG 747X. I have re-downloaded the NGX installer and the hotfix, I have tried a new FSX.cfg, Bojote's FSX.cfg, the tweaks you have put into your manual, but infortunately have had no luck.... Short of re-installing my FSX again, which I did 2 weeks before the release, I do not know what to do? I also keep my machine defragged with O&O regulary, so that shouldn't be the problem. Do you think it is an activation issue? Should I format my machine and start again.... I really do not want to do that, but if I have to I will. Hope we can come to a solution. RegardsRobert

Thanks Peter and Phil,Peter, If i understand correctly, the problem comes with installing it under the default program files directory as windows has placed security policies on these folders, so having it on a separate drive under a games directory has the same effect as being in the root of d:\However I stand under correction on this?Phil, unfortunately I have tried this too, but to no avail :(
