August 18, 201114 yr Sorry but i cannot hold it back :-) but why is it that we focus on issues with a new relasedriver instead of all the improvements?????? If it does not improve overall experience why in the heck would we want a new driver? This is more of a brain teaser because it is truely sad that the first that comes to mind is issues :-) /Michael Michael Moe

August 18, 201114 yr Hey I have a quick question for all the ATI users... When ever Im flyng over water in FSX with no land in sight (lax-hnl) FSX starts messing up on me when I change view to outside. When I try to change view to cockpit it won't change back and eventually freezes.. It has nothing to do with the NGX cause always happen before it came out.. And the same thing happen in my old desktop... does anyone have any idea or this happens to them...? I have a ATI graphic card too.. Carlitos Colon

August 18, 201114 yr Author The only reason i put this post up is because fsx +pmdg737ngx are affected by graphics cards , and we all know we should keep them up to date. In regards to the several display issues people are reporting with there ngx on there system i only thought it would be nice just to let everyone know that the new update driver is out so they could try this before slamming the forums with "MY NGX DONT DO THIS " Etc.

I've seen a very similar view switching issue with both nvidia and ati cards but only when out over the sea. No idea what causes it but by coincidence I've put in a ticket just today about the NGX panel freezing when out over the water and having switched views (currently with nvidia). Your post just made me think, could I actually be getting a different manifestation of the same issue? Interesting. Bill Casey

August 18, 201114 yr but why is it that we focus on issues with a new relasedriver instead of all the improvements?????? Because new drivers usually only contain improvements for quite recent software/games and some of these improvements can break things for older software/games that aren't part of the optimization/testing process anymore. Games like Flight Simulator X, which is almost 5 years old. That's also the reason why the latest driver isn't necessarily the best and why one can sometime achieve better results by rolling back to older drivers.
August 18, 201114 yr Runs ok on new drivers no crashes or freeze new cards though 6970 2gig x 2 crossfired maxed settings smooth as with all hot fixes installed

I found the way to fix it was to right click go to aircaft view and then use s or whateverr is your key and they go to the VC. Dmitriy Kotov If it is not IFR conditions it is not fun.
