But we don't believe the Ten Minute Taxi episode. Have you never asked yourself why Microsoft provided its creator or that with the release date but it hasn't provided it to anyone else?

Either way for the amount of time FLIGHT has been in development it does sound like it will make it in 2012 around the first quarter.

Okay. Well it is fun to speculate, and you're entitled to do that. Everyone else is.

What if Microsoft isn't nearly as far along with Flight as they would lead people to believe. They quickly release some video and photo's at the beginning which only show Hawaii and then zip. Why you ask (which is actually a pretty good question), one possible scenario would be to throw a wrench in the plans of releasing X-Plane 10 too soon and have people switching from FSX to X-Plane. What do you think, Ten Minute Taxi material? Regards, Mike Mann

That is true.

Sounds like FSX when FSX was in development. And however I don't mean to start and arguement but I wouldn't ever switch to X-plane. Even though I have tried it and had an actual copy I hated X-plane

Me neither

Same...X-Plane has it's definite downsides. If ANYONE on these forums says they'd easily switch to X-Plane and leave a series that is 30 years old and still going strong for a visually challenged simulator, well, then they are not a true MSFS enthusiast. Alien.gif

the opposite is true .. A true enthusiast is open to any and all flight simulators.

I dreamt last night about Microsoft releasing an update - it showed passengers boarding airliners. I woke up this morning and rushed to AVSIM to see if my dream was reality. Sadly not. Yawn.gif

You dream about strange things!

I said MSFS enthusiasts, NOT all flight simulator enthusiasts. A "flight simulator enthusiast" can refer to ANY flight sim, whether it be Flight Gear, X-Lame (oops, i mean plane laugh.png ) or whatever else. But I said MSFS, now didn't I? biggrin.png

I love how everyone is failing to understand what I really meant.
