Hi Lain: Glad to hear you got it sorted out, good job, guys I always think the newer drivers will be better maybe for new games but not for a relic like flight simulator lol but hey if it works for you cool we are always looking for that silver bullet, I would bet that new nvidia driver is going to be awesome and my flightsim is going to great well wishful thinking that is not going to happen, only faster hardware will show improvements, anyway sorry for rambling you can find a tweaked version of nvidia drivers which I find are a bit better the nvidia drivers about 85% of the time, http://www.tweakforce.com - that's what I use most of the time, keep in mind you may want to try the nvidia version that works for you like 270.61 in tweakforce version, if the new 285 doesn't work for you probably wont work in the tweakforce version either.

Hi Rich, just FYI, that's an I at the beginning of my name not an L. It's the Scottish form of Ian. wink.png Iain Smith

Bought it yesterday and yet I have to be blown away by it. So far the only real thing I noticed is that the VC cockpits are darker than before. But I guess there isn´t any real difference when flying at day or is there? The difference with ENB and the John Venemas settings was far greater. I still use ENB with the config that came with Shade, but it doesn´t look as nice as the Venema settings. Maybe this program doesn´t work as good with ATI cards?

Works fine for me, improves the appearance of the landscapes, but I use it only during the day light. It has an issue - landing and taxi lights are not visible at night. I have NVIDIA, but I think it should work with any card

My landing and taxi lights are visible with Shade and I have an Nvidia card. The lights may not be as intense and this is probably due to Shade darkening things. I agree with Oliver (Eraser74) that I have not been blown away and the only thing I have really noticed is the darkening of the VC. Iain Smith

I realy don't want to advertise this shader, but take a look here, you will notice the difference:thttp://i1108.photobu...tar77/FSWC4.jpghttp://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h415/lodestar77/withoutshader1.jpg http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h415/lodestar77/withshader1.jpghttp://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h415/lodestar77/withfswc1.jpghttp://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h415/lodestar77/withFSWC.jpghttp://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h415/lodestar77/shader4.jpghttp://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h415/lodestar77/shader2.jpghttp://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h415/lodestar77/shader1.jpghttp://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h415/lodestar77/shader.jpg .
