OK - one thing that should work for sure is to edit the alpha layer on the textures with DXTbmp - get rid of it or make it completely black.

I tried using DXTbmp, and it didn't cure the problem for me. I tried changing the alpha channels to all black through the Create Alpha Channel (Black) command - didn't work. There's no way to eliminate the alpha channel with this program...the only thing that it allows is to send the alpha to the paint program for editing, which I tried by selecting all and deleting it, then saving it back which also did not work. The other choices available are to create new alpha channel or import one....tried the create new for a transparent one, and that didn't work either....I'm at a loss....

A long while ago it worked for me when I ran the fravin C150 in FSX Gold. I've seen others who've got it working too. I've run out of things I can suggest, not sure why its not working on your system.

I've also seen the youtiube vids of it running correctly in FSX, but it won't work for me...figures I'd be the exception! Thanks for your suggestions, though.

I too have tried everything I can think of and still can't get it to work in FSX. Has anyone actually achieved this and, if so, how? I'd love to have it - I learned to fly on a C150.

I did have this one. Indeed very good and a lot of fun. Not sure if I still have it somewhere. Can't remember where it came from.
