October 10, 201114 yr Drop the attitude. And there's no way there were different variables at play? Bah forget it. Mate, I asked a question, you gave ME attitude... I asked because I am genuinely curious about the interaction between FSX and ASE. Again, I am not asking real life, I am asking about the interactions between several simulator programs so I understand the way the data is interpreted. If 4 aircraft, 5nm apart at the same level can have such differences, I want to understand why. If you dont know the answer, kindly let someone who does answer it. Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict
October 10, 201114 yr You need to understand what TAT is and what factors can change it, first.Your reply had plenty of attitude so I can see why you got that reply zachlw. People in glass houses etc. Getting tired of seeing nasty know all responses from certain quarters on this forum
October 10, 201114 yr Author Hi,It seems that the temperature of the TAT, and important for the growth of engines fitted, so I power losses mounted as well.Thank you for your help.JMarc Ps: Sorry for my English ... (I'm french)
October 10, 201114 yr I think his question revolves more around the occasional high temperature at altitude bug that crops up from time to time (with the NGX only...at least in my experience)...the one where the OAT going up in altitude is well on the + side rather than dropping into the negatives as it typically should be (+44c at 25k feet IS NOT normal). With that, the engines simply can't perform during climbout or cruise. I see this bug from time to time and using FSUIPC's clear all weather button tends to get everything reset to the proper values. I'm using ASE when this happens, btw, but it hits FSInn too apparently, so does the blame lie with the NGX? Who knows. Scott Burns
October 12, 201114 yr Author Hi,I think I found my problem, it makes me FSUIPC problems, not ASE, I made a flight without FSUIPC, only with ASE, the great flight, had no problems ... JMarc Tibbo
October 12, 201114 yr CDU prog page 2 is where you can see the OAT if I recall correctly. Lukas "TIN TIN -=9th Shrek=-" Mathijsen
October 12, 201114 yr FSInn is what causes the high OAT at FL240/250.. disable weather in FSInn and run it from ASE only. David Garrison
October 12, 201114 yr The weather from FSInn should always should be disabled when using a weather program.
