Nothing like that even happened.

It was just a bunch of rumors started from a few unreliable sources.

Based mainly on an interview with Orbx CEO John Venema there has been a very upset discussion about Flight and 3PDs and a Avsim member got banned because of his hassle with Venema about breaking NDAs (this resulted in: I forgot why i hated Avsim). There was at least some hint that Orbx isn't very happy about MS Flight. Soon after that some Flight-forums got closed on 3PDs websites "(Another Microsoft Flight forum closure)" and the Prepar3D-excitement started (P3D forum is here!). The mentioned topic/discussion: Hmm....does not look good... It´s not much but more than "nothing". Still sticking and rocking with FS9.

Actually I said nothing about Flight not supporting IFR , I was talking about PFC being certified IFR equipment and the support not being in the Flight software for it.... and on a sidenote, the PFC driver required FSUIPC to function....
Ignoring all the OT comments the answer seems to be that FSX supports PFC and nobody is able to say whether or not Flight will support PFC at this stage.

Give people power to really test their personality.

A more accurate statement would be that PFC supports FSX (FSX doesn't do anything specficially to support PFC) and nobody is able to say whether PFC will support Flight (or be allowed to support Flight).
