Hey Nicke , i walked up to a guy at the airport in Calgary when we were going to Jamaca who had a Gibson t shirt on. I tapped him on the shoulder and said "either your a hell of a guitar player or you have to much money" and he just looked at me and had a good laugh. Lord those things in Canada here start at almost 2 gr i think. i got a Taylor for Xmas -315ce - i love it and almost sleep with it but what a pain to keep it properly humidified . These guys around here giving this advice know the square root of every thing and i hope one of them will give you the link for -Nick's FSX tune and install -set up. Idon't have it on this computer cause i'm at work but every one here will tell you it's the bible to install FSX cause lord love a duck, don't get your new rig and atart slapping stuff in left and right .

Just to prove your point...http://www.simforums.com/forums/setting-up-fsx-and-how-to-tune-it_topic29041.htmlAnd 75,076^(1/2)=274Edit: When following nickn's guide I would recommend you dont do the disabling services bit. That can cause major nightmares if you mess it up. All the rest is holy writ as concerns setting up a stable & optimized fsx. Then run fsx.cfg through venetubo.com/fsx.html and you'll be golden.Edit2: Keep the les Pauls, sell one of the others. I'd trade my strat for a les Paul any day of the week.

Yes, but if he in the future wanna upgrade to SLI, then a PSU of 650 is kinda weak./ Leffe
that motherboard has no SLI support Leffe. Not like it's needed for FSX anyway :)

OK, but if you read my post further up, I said a MB MSI P97A GD80 B3, also I said in one post, when in other games (not FS) that could be good to have the ability upgrading, therefore a PSU ofat least 750-850./ Leffe

If you're not in a desperate rush I'd wait a bit till the ivy bridge processors are out. Sandy bridge is the current fsx king, but ib should be even better.
+1I'm waiting for the IB, hopefully by then I can run the 3 newest PMDG products (or soon to)!

There will always be something 'even better' in the future. So you simply have to ask your self how long are you willing to wait before you can run the todays best products? If you budget to save $25 a month from the day you buy a sandy bridge setup, you will have the cash to upgrade to ib as sooon as it is stable.

Then you should go with sandybridge.P67/z68 motherboard, 2500k CPU, 8gb ram & a gtx560ti will run fsx very nicely and won't break the bank.
