October 29, 201114 yr Author Commercial Member can you get to this pagehttp://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/files/category/1-ozx-scenery/I already have OZa v1 and v1.1 installedhaha, but not active in scenery lib.......standby Clive Joy
October 29, 201114 yr There is a utility FS Lib Scan 1.1 that will generate a csv file with all the guids of FS9/FSX objects on your system, but that doesn't tell you which bgl is placing the object and can't find it. It's more intended to show you missing textures rather than missing objects.scott s..
October 29, 201114 yr Author Commercial Member Guys, nope, still same errors even with these OZ libs active and the wooden crate is still at PANTOh well.OK I am going to diabled ALL of Misty moorings scenery and see if the errors disappearI report back when I know......another long night! Clive Joy
October 29, 201114 yr Author Commercial Member OK, no errors at all with ALL of mistys scenery disabled. Strange thing though Jim, no wooden crate at PANT either? Clive Joy
October 29, 201114 yr Author Commercial Member OK back at PAKT, and wow what a difference. PAKT looks totally different and NO errors and the framerate 50+. Never had that beforeOK, staying at PAKT and reenabling Misty scenery one by one. Clive Joy
October 29, 201114 yr Commercial Member So if you disable my dummy libraries with the OZx libraries installed, do you still get the 13 errors near KSEA?Thanks,Jim
October 29, 201114 yr Author Commercial Member not tried that yet, but will do that next...standby; Clive Joy
October 29, 201114 yr Author Commercial Member So if you disable my dummy libraries with the OZx libraries installed, do you still get the 13 errors near KSEA?Thanks,JimGet ONE error only...result.....didn't write it down but will do on next reload Clive Joy
October 29, 201114 yr Author Commercial Member Is there a max distance from where you are to get the GUID error? Clive Joy
October 29, 201114 yr Commercial Member That's probably the 2D65B7FC-4ECE-830A-7084-54AEDB7BB4E1 error that we had to make the special dummy object for. So, I think I finally have the answer to a question I've been trying nail down for a couple months now. Vashon needs the OZx libraries. Thanks for your help on this, and reinstall all your Misty Moorings stuff being careful to read every word of the instructions, there's probably a bit in there stating which object libraries are required which may be separate downloads that you missed the first time. I would delete "jr_unknown_dummy_obj_lib.BGL" and just keep "alpha117_dummy_obj_lib.BGL" since the prior is no longer needed and will likely cause conflicts with the OZx libraries installed. Is there a max distance from where you are to get the GUID error?Yeah, it seems you need to be within about 20-30nm of the missing object before the errors start popping up.Jim
October 30, 201114 yr Jim, your "Jr_unknown_dummy" file did the trick for me. I was getting massive graphical "spikes" and eventual CTDs when flying out and around Vashon but now it's no longer a problem. I ended up adding the "alpha117_dummy" file as well. No problems so far. Thanks for your help!! Alexander Alonso
October 30, 201114 yr Commercial Member Thanks Alexander I'm glad it helped. One thing we do need to remember though is that duplicate object libraries are as bad as missing GUIDs, and since the "unknown" is now "known", we no longer need or want the dummys on our systems. They are now a potential source of problems rather than a cure, especially when you consider the popularity of the OZx stuff. I've removed the files from the server for this reason. Alpha117 you can keep your alpha117_dummy_lib.bgl, but let's get rid of the rest of them that everyone's downloaded and replace them with the actual OZx libraries. The upside is you'll also get to see an object in your sceneries that the designer meant to be there rather than the wooden crate. I believe we'll be seeing an update for Vashon that will eliminate these errors soon. In the meantime you can get the OZx libraries here.Jim
October 30, 201114 yr Author Commercial Member JimAlready have done that, I just renamed the bGL to xxx. I'm slowly re activating all my Misty scenery and so far only one error. Scenery generally seems lots better and even faster. Many, many thanks for all your help on this. Hopefully this thread is now closed, with a very good result.OZx libs installed and activated(ooops!), plus other object libs as well. This is a fantastic link to check if you have all obj libs intalled correctlyhttp://return.mistymoorings.com/faq/index.php#iGo down to 'S' scenery object tester. I now see ALL 10 objects.Last Question; are these objects used thoughout addon sceneries in FSX?regards Clive Joy
October 30, 201114 yr Author Commercial Member OK, all misty scenery up and activated ALL is now OK.I only get ONE error, which is much better to where I was yesterday.Jim, any chance of this one last wooden crate. Then i would be 'error free'4AA616C2-38F7-4A28-87A0-B002B844DDC1Regards Clive Joy
