You can edit the Navdata so that it expires some time in the future or buy the current cycle from navigraph. A quick search should bring up directions on the edit.

Daniel,You can download the latest Navdata at http://www.navigraph.com/www/fmsdata.asp Scroll down to PMDG (all products) and download the latest cycle. This is a subscriber service, but it is inexpensive and worth it to keep your Nav Database up to date.

• download charts for 50 airports through the nDAC software
• or download 10 enroute charts through the nDAC software
• or download FMS Data updates for 5 different AIRAC cycles

I only want FMS data only for the NGXCheers guys

The credits are good for a year. I generally buy a cycle, a few charts & save the rest in case I decide to update to a new cycle. I don't fly online anymore, so having the lasest doesn't matter as long as my planes & my fsc are in sync.

Just edit this line in the fmc_ident file in the navdata folder.OpProgram=JUL28AUG24/11 to this OpProgram=JUL28DEC31/11

I sent him a new file to replace the old one with that edit.

The credits are good/valid for 270 days, not for a year. They should never expire in my opinion and that's why I hardly ever update anymore.

I myself get the year subsription for the FMS data (I no longer deal with Navigraph for thier charts, total ripoff those are)You get a bonus 13th cycle with the year subcription too. And it is an all for nothing deal. You get access to the entire cycle for all formats they do. There is no discount for just downloading one of them. You get access to all, need them or not. Makes those looking only for PMDG airac navdata on the short end. If you own a lot of add-ons that use Navigraphs updates, it becomes quite a sweet deal.

My mistake on the 1 year bit. I think getting access to all the different versions is a plus though. Beats buying the same cycle twice.

It really means nothing in FSX if you don't fly online. Just cancel it via the FMC and fly as normal.
