November 13, 201114 yr I really think Carenado should make business jets. This is the one thing we need. I would be great! They could make aircraft like the Hawker 200, Hawker 750, Cessna Citation, etc. What are your thoughts on this? Any suggestions about aircraft? November 13, 201114 yr I can see that you are enthusiastic in your desire for bizjets but, you are confusing YOUR WANTS with "our needs." I suspect very few people reading this "need" a bizjet, but I will only speak for myself when I say I don't want Carenado to waste a single CPU cycle doing something that has been done very well by others. I hope they go back to single engine props. If you really need (or simply want) some really good quality bizjets, look here: http://www.eaglesoft...te_Aviation.htmIf you want the ultimate Citation, look here: http://www.flight1.c...oduct=f1mustangThere is no need for Carenado to duplicate those aircraft. November 14, 201114 yr Author Yes, we do not absolutely need bizjets, but I think it would be great to have them though. Thank you for the links though, I appreciate your help. November 24, 201114 yr I love Carenado. I have a half dozen of their planes. I can't see them building jets, though. It's just not where their strength is. Lose not thine airspeed, lest the ground rise up and smite thee.
November 24, 201114 yr I wish someone would tackle building a payware, high quality, accurate Gulfstream business jet. It doesn't have to be the G650 or any of the newest jets. A G-V or IV would be great. But - it has to be close to "PMDG" quality or the sim wouldn't do the jet justice. Just thinking out loud...
November 24, 201114 yr For those who want jets, have you checked out Eaglesoft? Another excellent bizjet aircraft is the Xtreme Prototypes Lear 20 series. They make a pretty mean Lear. I'm not sure we really need another jet manufacturer when there are so many smaller GA planes that match up extremely well with the Orbx sceneries that have yet to see the light of day. Aircraft like the Navajo and Aztec, both of which would be equally at home in the bush as at CYVR or KSEA, which would satisfy a wider range of sim pilots. Yes, we have the Baron and 340, but you wouldn't put either of those (realistically) down in any of Misty Moorings strips.I like that Carenado is doing the King Air, but wouldn't like to see them go higher up the food chain than the turboprops. The machines they have been doing seem to be playing to their strengths, not to mention they have RW access to those machines for reference material. While expanding one's horizons can be a good thing, I'd still rather they continue to do what they do best. We all win that way. FWIW.
November 24, 201114 yr hi guys i love carenado planes ,but i also buy from eaglesoft and the the guys who are beta pilots are very nasty to there customer, when there"s is a question in reference to the jets . for instance there was a customer who ask when is the citation excell coming out mind you is been on the progress for the past 5 years so why not just say we are working on it.i just dont post anything anymore . that;s how you loose customer.
November 26, 201114 yr Business Jets from Carenado??? I hope there won´t be any. Carenado should do what they are doing very well right now!!!
November 27, 201114 yr Business Jets from Carenado??? I hope there won´t be any. Carenado should do what they are doing very well right now!!!Agreed, they should stay with the GA prop/piston world. There are many twin GA aircraft waiting to be done properly. Having said that, i cannot wait for the KingAir (which will be a true litmus test of their capabilities beyond GA)
November 27, 201114 yr Author Well, not now, but sometime in the future they could make business jets and props too. Or they could have Carenado could make a new company, kind of like Alabeo, and make just business through a company with a separate name. Also, I have one question- If Carenado made a nice business jet, would you buy it. November 27, 201114 yr I wouldn't not buy a Carenado business jet just because it was Carenado. I'd read a LOT of reviews first, but it was up to par and I needed a business jet, yes I'd get it. But that said, I use the Lear 24 (Xtreme Prototypes) as a cargo machine, and that's about the only "business jet" I really need. My strong preference is for bush and/or GA machines, which is why I buy a lot of Carenado's aircraft. So the chances of me buying another business jet, regardless of who makes it, is very slim indeed.
November 27, 201114 yr I think some people think just because they make a business jet that they can not make any other type of plane. I for one would welcome a jet because of the quality that they put into their planes. Remember they can still do both.

People think if they make business jets, then they will not make props. That's wrong- They can make both props and business jets and that is a good idea.
