I think both milviz and rogue are right at least partially:a-Rogue is right when he claims performance is not so great. If you turn on the map in the central display the fps will drop and you will get stutters every 3 or 4 secs (at least this is what happens here). It appears that things will not improve in the very near future either...at least according to Jon.Here's his why http://www.milviz.co...php?f=46&t=1455.Just in case something will be done in the next few patches I will wait a little and if this issue is not addressed I will return the plane. b- Milviz is right when he says support is good.

I'll buy it when the plane has:1st: Correct VC2nd: No fps stutters....wich is obviousely not only because of the guages or systems3rd: when the textures are going to be redone with less rivets...the whole plane got rivet up...its a nightmare for the crewchiefs! So let me put it in another word...don't count on it, even if it would be the only MUDHEN made for FSX............But for the people who likes to fly an imaginary plane........go for it...the support is good, you'll have a 30 days money back guarantee!

Who is this "Rogue" person that everyone keeps mentioning?

Ray,I'm not really sure what you're trying to achieve here in this thread. With respect to the VC, you speak in absolutes. I will not. No FSX aircraft shall 100% replicate the systems of a modern fighter-attack aircraft, especially one that is widely considered the single most complex jet in the world today -- the F-15E.However, as the man who spent the time to write the Pilots Operating Handbook for this virtual jet, and patterned it strongly after the real-world jet's Technical Order, let me say that the systems of our VC strongly replicate most every function available in the real jet's cockpit, MFD's, HUD, and UFC. Sure, there are areas we did not replicate. But, there are areas that we replicated that I've not seen in any other FSX virtual aircraft. With respect to the performance. Again, no one is honestly going to say that a virtual jet in FSX is going to 100% replicate the flight performance of a real world F-15E, nor any other aircraft in the world. As someone with 3,000 PIC hours in real world aircraft of civilian and military types, I think anyone who says they can achieve 100% fidelity is frankly lying! But, again, I know of two real world F-15E pilots who have flown our virtual jet (not on the production team as with our T-38A) and they both came away very impressed with what we accomplished. So, each customer has to make his or hers own choice.Cheers, and I hope you can find virtual aircraft for FSX that you enjoy.Ken Stallings

I think Ray means it doesn't look like a F-15E's VC. Comparing pictures of the real cockpit and yours just don't match up.

mr. joined on 12/1/2011, best if you can buy both versions and report back and give us your 1st hand review. otherwise, your bold statements don't hold water and smells like guerrilla marketing. good luck.note to self: so odd that people come out of the woodwork saying the same things when one version of F15E is released...

Oh for goodness sake..... "doesn't look like a F-15E's VC"??? NOTE the use of the term VC. 'VIRTUAL cockpit'. If you'd like a real one, get out your credit card. You know what, just to stick a pin in our guerrilla marketeers, I'm going to buy this aircraft.Milviz are amoung the best in the business.

Look I don't have a dog in this show, don't own the plane, not an F-15 Crew Chief or Pilot, just a guy who has been around Military Aviation for a while. I'm just going to throw this out there, and this is the internet so take it for what it is worth...1. Very rarely do Military VCs matchup with their real world counterparts. How many Block revisions does the F-15E have right now? I'm not even going to mention the different variants for the over seas models.2. Expecting a perfect cockpit is unrealistic. I can't speak for Milvis, or what they had access to, but every program has to take some liberties, its a 'simulator' not a metal and plastic mock up. just my $.02* BTW I realize this is my first post......

Ken,So you dont speak in absolutes, good for you man, Good FOR You....I know the modeling and making textures cost a lot of time and effort, but if you do......at least make sure you have the right data and INTEL, even if you dont have the manuals or what so ever, try to find it....or go and look for the right pictures to get the right intel....And even though its hard to get any intel, take a look at F-15E.info there is a lot of information to use....About the systems.....hmm yeah those "could be" working like the real thing but hey it doesnt mean that, if you put in a HUD or MFD's and a working UFC you can say.....hey guys this is a VC pit of an F-15E...i was prefering to the visual 3d parts of the plane like:the armrests on the Aces, i mean really?..... the Oxygen hose that goes into the right panel wasting all the oxygen......or that washing machine hose on the right side of the Aces seat?.....or what about the way the stick is coming out of the floor?...man what about the ADI?....i mean the person obviousely knows how to model things but this is rediculous...i could go on for days and i still havent talked about the externals...Especially if you want to make a plane after the T-38, wich is a very nice product.....make sure you get to keep the ladder high......I am aware that its never possible to get planes, the jets or what ever kinda plane, have the real systems or performance getting worked into FS because that is not possible...fs doesnt have the right engines for it or the codes....The only thing i say, is that .......if you are going to spend that lot of time modeling or what so ever....make sure you have the right intel and about the manual, honestly it looks more like it has been copied from the TO manual as well as the illustrations, but sorry to say im not impressed....And for Victory061, I have been in the forces as well, and even its your 1st post, sorry man, you just lost your $0.02.......but thanks for the effort of replying....Annyways, even as i know that there is a possiblity that my post will be deleted, or even worse i could be banned,......wich wont make me sleep less, its just a lie saying that this plane is a perfecrt replica of the F-15E.....So get of that high horse and admit you made some mistakes, instead of keep on struggling against people who knows of what they are talking about ( other forums) or trying to go trolling around on other company forums, wich is making the same product but probably with the right intel ( and im not talking about the systems or performance, because i dont know, im refering to screenshots) just to get even..........Just admit and maybe make an update.....thats all!

Haven't you been reading? Most of what you've mentioned has already been acknowledged, and a service update has been in progress for several weeks already. That you have a biased agenda is patently obvious...

And Ray that's the beauty of the Internet, and Forums any a-hole can crap all over the work someone else has done because they have invested nothing, including taking the time to proof read their own posts. I have invested nothing in either of the two products, either, but I appreciate the work that the Guys at MILVIS, IRIS and VRS do. You have fun slinging mud, though, I can stand to lose that two cents, I got a jar full of pennies right here.BTW Thank you for your Service.

Well i dont want to spend too much time on the Milviz site.......got better things to do....but i will be curious if that means the whole model would be redone......but still havent seen any admitting......but i honestly know that wont be hapening, its more like a....keeping your heads under ground....But never the less...i already spend too much energy by looking and replying on this forum....So you can keep your snappy replies for yourself........
