Or how many times an exclamation point or question mark can be used in a single post. For me it isn't your post count that causes you to lose credibility, it's the manner in which you post.

On the G note.....the F-15E is NOT a 9G aircraft and neither is the C for that matter :). On the C you can maybe get 8.5 without overstressing the wings and on the E....well you have a accurate overload warning system (OWS) which changes the max allowable G with weight (Fully loaded with fuel and weapons you shouldnt dare to pull more than 2.9G. Thats right....The E is a brick until you dump the bombs and tanks). But yes the real jet does not have fly-by-wire. It has a control augmentation system which if i recall correctly is the forerunner to FBW in that it helped keep the jet from departing controlled flight (it tail slides beautifully. The only concern with that IRL is a engine flameout) but Over G was not a part of it.

Looking forward to the AOA meter fix. About the over-g - I simply pulled full back stick at around mach 0.8 at low levels(some valleys end very abruptly in Norway Whistle.gif ), and was a bit shocked to find that it seemed to pull up sharper and faster than the default Extra 300 - but I did have a very light load and no bombs/tanks. I would have guessed that the airframe would try to resist a bit if it really would fall apart at 8.5 G I'd think it'd be a bit harder to reach that G number regardless of FBW protection or not. So real F15 pilots need to be that careful with the stick movement? Not sure how to phrase this accurately but I mean that it'd be a bit silly to design it with such huge elevators if that only helps you rip the wings off if you get excited durign combat situations? If it's true to life then by all means.

The F-15 (E included) isnt really at its best at low altitudes.... In most of the videos I have seen they actually manover very gently and slowly at low altitude. You stand a better chance in a dogfight at high altitude plus you are less likely to pull the wings off. However there was a occasion where a F-15 pilot suffered spatial disorientation and pulled 13G or something like that. Both he and the jet survived.....But several airframe parts needed to be replaced.Oh and at high altitude high mach there will be much less of a elevator response if I recall correctly.

I bought this beauty on release day, but only had enough time for a quick start and look around the cockpits. I do like the functional dual cockpits. It was a busy day and had to make a real world flight so I didnt get to spend too much time with it. I took it to Seymour Johnson and my MAIW traffic was very busy too! I would never trade in the IRIS F-16D though. I waited too long for that one.

Hey Milviz. What's the chances of the Chinook being released before Xmas? Appreciate any timescale at all.

Rogue claims "the modeling (especially the VC) is inaccurate and FS98 quality at best" and you say the details are outstanding .One of you must be wrong :)
And Rogue is right.........!

I;m sorry but Rogue is incorrect. Both models have inaccuracies. Both will have things that the other doesn't have. More importantly the Milviz has TWO things going for it that the other one will NOT have: 1) there is a 30 day money back guarantee (this is available on all FS products purchased from our website). 2) our support is second to none. No one does what we do to keep our clients happy. No one. From personal emails to phone calls if needed, we go all the way on a per customer basis. And we do that with ALL of our products. We don't just do support on our website. There is one other minor point. Ours is out now and you can buy it.I don't know about you guys but until something is out and available, it's hard to make serious judgements.I will say, the other guy's is looking pretty nice though.

And Rogue is right.........!

I do hope this isn't considered advertising... it is something that I think distinguishes us from the competition. Not only is it pretty much on the money in terms of operation but it actually does drop the weapon where you want it to drop. http://www.youtube.com/user/milvizinc?feature=mhum#p/a/u/0/wveFuRCo6W0
