Thank goodness! Now there's no excuse for you to post again in this or any other thread. Your "agenda" as an agent provocateur is flamingly obvious.*PLONK*BTW, there is no "trojan" in the installer. It is a well-known and documented false positive. Get your "facts" straight
Yep, funny how one of these yahoos always springs up when there is a new release and has to post something like he did. Love how he had to post once more to let us all know how his friend will be sure to get a refund, like we really needed to know that.

I find it strange that he thinks it's so bad but he hasn't even bought it. I mean... it's going through F1. They not only offer 30 days money back but they CHECK to see if what we sell using their stuff is ok. Crazy...

Maybe his friend really bought it and they didn't like it and decided to come here and say it. Unless they didn't buy it but got it off some torrent site , installed it, the installation was corrupt and the plane looks bad.

LOL.... maybe so. I'm not going to get into THAT one... but I will say that I think the pics on our site (all unedited) prove that, at least visually, the plane lives up to the Milviz standard.Oh and so far, we've had maybe 5 people who have had serious installation issues. I am dealing with each of those. Personally.

You can turn it off and then turn it back on after.... The short answer is yes. Or, if you kno whow to edit files on your systems... then no...If you want further info, please hit up the general forums on the F-15E at our site.... specifically :http://www.milviz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=1415

I really like the aircraft except for a few things. I think this should be in the support forum, but I haven't gotten a reply on creating a forum account there yet so here you go:* The Upfront control panel's font looks off somehow, I can't read it properly:201111260263775.jpg* Strange behaviour at high speeds, If I pull back on the stick the G meter stops at 9G and it says "Over-g" but I can still tighten the turn.* AOA meter is off, I can't seem to keep her airborne above 9 units when the manual says approach at 20 units or so. I assume that's independant of weight?* Is there really no terrain display at all? I don't mean the terrain following radar guided mode, just a simple map display? I haven't found it yet, not in the manual or by experimenting in the aircraft.* I can't get the weapon manager to work at all. I open the 2d panel and see stuff appear and disappear on the panel, but nothing happens with the aircraft itself.Love the looks, and the general feel though. Depending on the bugs (or my ability to figure out what I'm doing wrong), I might get a refund but I hope I don't have to. I've wanted an advanced F15 for ages. The VRS is in a class of it's own, but it's still not an F15, and like most others here I guess you just have a special bond with certain aircraft. I had a model of the F15 on my room when I was a kid, so...

For the weapons it's almost certainly this issue: http://www.milviz.co...php?f=46&t=1415There is no terrain display except in AG Radar mode. The reason we did not put it in is simple: we already have 7 MPD's plus the HUD PLUS the weapons radar. FPS FPS FPS.For the AOA, do you have damage to the aircraft on? if not, you can keep tightening your turn for sure... (in real life you would black out before that almost certainly)I will check with Bernt about the AOA....I think it's not so much the font as the LCD's are pushed in too far. In the SP, I will move them out a bit.For your forum user tag, to whom did you send your request?

Thanks for the very fast reply, that's the kind of service that's great to see!I tried the installer you posted in your link, but after running that I'm still only add the electronic pods. I'll try adding the xml entry too.I've tried the AG mode to get terrain, but I still only get green background color and no real reading. I'll fiddle with the VC settings a bit and see if it's a classic case of "error between seat and screen". LOL.gifI can approach without the AOA meter by watching the HUD, the nose up attitude at level flight is a give-away and I need to keep that at around 10-12 degrees up at landing config at medium weights(no weapons but half full tanks) and tap the throttle to keep the rate of descent comfortable during flare and touchdown. I think that's about right. I just did an approach with about 50% fuel and no ordenance, approaching at 150 kts 10 degrees nose up and 700 fpm descent speed. AOA shows 12 units.I tried lowering the camera angle to see if the LCD was being obstructed by the frames that stick out a bit, but the text stays put a bit too high.I'll PM you about the forum registration, thanks again for replying so fast!

No worries. Every customer counts.Btw, the text for the dll.xml NEEDS to be there or you will not get the weapons.

Btw, I have just spoken to the nemeths and we will have the Chinook in beta next week. Finally.
Fantastic news. Thank you. Sorry for being off topic. Would love to see some beta screenies if you get the chance.

Could it be the guy who made 3 posts since 2009 or is it the guy who created a gimmick account two hours ago..... hmmmm tough choice.
I think the OP asked for opinions from folks who had purchased the F-15E. I'm pretty confident my experience working with actual F-15Cs, Ds, and E's for several years more than qualifies my comments rather than the post count that you seem to be concerned about.

There's no FBW in the Eagle which limits the Gs. In that case the 'over-G' warning wouldn't be neccessary wink.pngIf you want to pull more than 9Gs you can do that. (up to 14Gs are possible in the real (and the Milviz) F-15 when performing an emergency pull up from a dive)There's a bug in the displayed AoA. That ones hopefully going to be fixed in the first patch. Units ares very close to AoA degrees +10.Optimum approach AoA is 20-21 units (or 10-11deg AoA)

I think you misunderstood me. People with a low post count / days since signed up ratio usually knows what they talk about. The reason for that is probably because if there's a topic they decided to post in after 3 years of not posting then surely they have some sort of higher than normal interesting in that particular subject. The guy with the gimmick account was obviously just a troll, too afraid of posting his findings with his real avsim account.

For any users that are experiencing issues, or for a run down of the major bugs and what we are doing about them, please go here. This also contains a run down on how to install the aircraft, of the items being worked on in the service pack and what to do temporarily while we are finishing themhttp://www.milviz.com/forum/viewtopi...p=10552#p10552I apologize for the inconvenience some of you have experienced.Colin
