November 30, 201114 yr I have read a lot of posts on the forums on how to silence the NAV Radios Morse identifier and I have followed all the indications (such as removing the assigned key on FSX Control list to avoid Identifier activation in case the same key was assigned to a different function from a different addon............silencing from the aircraft radio panel .......and so on....), but so far I still have the identifier beeping any time a tuned radio is in range. Not an NGX issue at all as it happens on all aircrafts, but since I fly most often with the NGX I would like to know if someone can give me a good suggestion about how to silence it, at least on the NGX.Thanks..Regards AMD Ryzen 7800x3d, Asus ROG Strix RTX4090, Asus x670e-e, G-Skill F5-6000J3038F16GX2-TZ5NR
December 1, 201114 yr I had the same issue when tuning to an ILS frequency, you will notice the small lighted dials lower center console on the left side of the panel you will find lighted dials that have VHF on the description (not exactly sure of name though), click the 1st one if your tuning to radio 1 if not, push the radio 2 lighted dial. The ILS continues to work and the Morse Code Identifier will stop beeping. Took a while to find it for me though. Hope this helps, if not I will post a screenie tomorrow (Going to bed). - Raul Ramirez
December 1, 201114 yr Author euhm....turn it off ?Thanks....but turning it off was the first thing I obviously did.....with no success....this is why I searched through the forums to find a solution... Regards AMD Ryzen 7800x3d, Asus ROG Strix RTX4090, Asus x670e-e, G-Skill F5-6000J3038F16GX2-TZ5NR

December 3, 201114 yr I've noticed that the FSX default controls and the NGX radio panel will both turn on and off the marker sounds, but not talk to each other. In other words, I accidentally pressed CTRL-3 and heard the marker sounds but the switch on the NGX panel was set to off. I believe CTRL-1 and CTRL-2 will control the audio from Nav 1 and Nav 2 respectively. Steve Caffey
March 1, 201214 yr OK, this topic is old but it keeps coming up and many people giving advice don't understand the problem. I had the same problem with the nmorse code identifier coming up even though all the radios were turned off. The CTRL 1, CTL2, CTL3 and CTL 4 I believe is the cause here. It is noyt a NGX issue or a LD767 issue (I got the same problem in both planes). By hitting CNTL 1 then CNTL 2, 3 and 4 I was able to shut off the annoying beeps. CNTL 1-4 toggle the identifier, so initally you may turnthem on and get 4 morse codes. But try each one and see if it tuerns off the morse code. I just solved my 2 week problem with a CNTL 4. I must have turned it on by mistake. I'd delete these key assignments in FSX. (Steve's post above was on, but there is ADF identifiers too CNTL4) and I forgot what CNTL 3 was for.
