December 22, 201114 yr I tried AS2012 last night using DWC and the difference is amazing.Yep, the only question for me was, how much of an upgrade is this, and as it turns out it's a big one. I'm glad about this, it totally justifies the product's existence.Making posts like "We shouldn't have to pay for bug fixes" trying to guilt the developer into giving them a deal is pretty pathetic too.But this I can't agree with! AS2012 is not a bug fix, obviously. A bug fix is a fix for a bug, an error, and I've never in my life seen anyone charge money for a bug fix, so how can it be "pathetic" to suggest "We shouldn't have to pay for bug fixes". It's not pathetic, it's how every piece of software I've ever owned works! I know you probably mean that upgrades shouldn't be free, and that's fine, but "bug fixes" are most certainly free every day of the week.
December 22, 201114 yr OK I've read through the entire thread - have been busy last few days so missed this new release.I have ASE. How much will it cost me to upgrade to this new version if I wanted to?Is there any discount for previous customers? Yes or no?

December 22, 201114 yr thanks although as I said in my post I already own ASE so I guess from that page the discount is 40%Still rather alot of money to add on top of the initial price I paid for ASE a few months ago. I think I'll wait a little while longer and see some more pix and reviews but so far am happy with ASE and REX.
