December 29, 201114 yr Hi,Anyone else have this issue? When you load up PMDG 737NGX with default configuration and are sitting at a gate or something, the 737NG is moving forward ever so slowly even if the parking break is set on. Thrust leavers are at idle. You only notice it really if you've been sitting for a while programming the FMC then look up and the gate is so much closer than it was before. If you stare out any of the windows you can tell you're moving forward pixel by pixel. If left to its own devices the aircraft would eventually crash into the gate (would take a long time but would get there eventually). Anyone?Cheers,Garry Noble CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K Processor (8M Cache, 3.40 GHz) overclocked to 4.90Ghz @ 1.52 Volts (76C under load) Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 580 Superclocked (1536Mb GDDR5 Memory, 797Mhz GPU Clock, 4050Mhz Memory Clock) Memory: 8Gb G-Skill DDR3 1600Mhz RipjawsX (7-8-7-24) Cooling: EK-KIT H3O - Supreme HF 360 EN + EK-FC580 GTX+ Watercooling (3 x Yate Loon 120mm fans radiator mounted) Motherboard: ASUS P8Z68-V PRO Storage: 2TB Western Digital Caviar Black (2 x 1TB RAID 0) Fan Controller: Zalman ZM-MFC1 Plus PSU: Corsair Professional Series Gold AX1200 Case: Corsair Obsidian Series 800D OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit Monitor: Acer GD245HQ Accessories: Nvidia 3D Vision
December 29, 201114 yr No kneed to recalibrate the joystick, I don't believe that this is a PMDG issue rather an FSX issue.cheers,Ensar
December 29, 201114 yr Apply the brake as soon as the initialization is done :) George Fisher FS Economy - Gives You a Reason to Fly Virtually
December 29, 201114 yr I get this, too. Whenever I start the NGX on a gate, the initialization will start but at the same time the aircraft moves forward for 3 seconds. But what I do, which solves the problem, is to (if you have Rudder Pedals) hold both toes while FSX is loading (the loading screen after you have selected your airplane, airport, etc.) and the moving forward will be minimal. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
December 29, 201114 yr Are you sure it is not the gate moving forward towards you ?A " Plane " VS " Gate " standoff !! :( Frederic Steiner.

For example, load any default plane, set the parking break, and enable time compression, and you'll see it moves forwards clearly. Alfredo Terrero
