I like the different colors! Adds a bit of "punch" and it also makes it easier to see where you are in the scroll. I'm also thankful for the demise of the "Shout" area - - - good thinking!I'm starting to believe that once the guys turned you loose Tom, there's no stopping you! They won't let me play with the library code, the have kicked me off the front page design team, they have banned me entirely from playing with Java, and as you say... FINALLY! I BROKE LOOSE!

That's not the point. It's about displaying all this old stuff on the timeline. For example, if on June 4, 2010 I wrote a status update about my dog having a bath, why would I want, now, December 29, 2011, to see that useless post? Plus, my dog is all hairy again now!

Hypothetical or not, it seems pointless to complain about what he chose to upload being displayed.

I'm assuming you don't use Facebook. Other people can post things about what you did on a certain date - it doesn't have to be subject who posts it. That said, if you are unhappy with it, then you don't have to use it.

That information has all been there obviously. Before you would just have to keep scrolling down to get to it. Now it is more easily accessible and people are mad. Another thing I think is funny is all the older people using facebook and their chain letters about changing the settings so that they get no news and block everyone from their list to prevent hackers. Then a few days later they wonder why they don't hear anything from anyone.I think it is great to keep everyone connected in a more visual and engaging way. Nearly all my family members are on facebook and it makes it great to communicate to each other about our upcoming events.
