The posts of Jim (suggestive comments about the entire world and jets being in Flight) gave me the impression he was a beta tester. However we have now learnt that none of that is happening, is Jim really a beta tester?

Since there WAS no Beta available during this period, and in fact still isn't available, just how could you even think such a thing?
