January 7, 201214 yr Yes you did land! I was not being a smart arse because I too try to get the feul dead on (fuel calculation is part of the fun of it for me). I RARELY do (ace the fuel calculation) mind you!! Al Stiff
January 7, 201214 yr Yes you did land! I was not being a smart arse because I too try to get the feul dead on (fuel calculation is part of the fun of it for me). I RARELY do (ace the fuel calculation) mind you!!It's not an easy task. I actually figured it's pretty hard in the sim since I often don't fly a 10hr flight at once, but sometimes I continue on the next day, so weather calculation can be for nothing. I usually leave myself some 15,000pounds at progress page calculated, with hopes that I finish at the destination airport - and sometimes it gets real close :(
January 8, 201214 yr Nice ones!! I've just finished an NGX flight from Denver back to Portland and I can say that I don't see any point to be worried about the future. FSX never looked and worked better than these days. Flight is dead, long live FSX!!! :(---I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=48.713053,8.167071 Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
