January 7, 201214 yr also the core flight model of fsx seems hardly as realistic as i initially thought. im a trainee on a 172 and i can guarantee that the secondary effect of the rudder is way waaaaaay off.
January 7, 201214 yr Guys,This is a simulator for Radio Controlled model aircraftNo. It's based on a simulator for R/C aircraftBTW. What does this video prove? I can crash my airplane. Over. And over. And over. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
January 7, 201214 yr It dose kinda look like Real Flight G4.5 with the crashes and graphics. -Raven HarrisIntel i7 980X @ 4.43GHz | ASUS Rampage III | Corsair 6GB DDR3 2000MHz | 3 EVGA GTX280 | Corsair 1200 Watt | Intel 510 SSD (RAID 0)PMDG - 747-400/8iF | MD11/F | BAe J41 | 737NG 6/7/8/9 Hope ER/BBJ|777LR/FFlight1- Cessna Mustang
January 7, 201214 yr I think we're more interested in the flight dynamics and features of the sim rather than the fact that you can crash the plane over and over again. Add that to the fact that it looks pretty amazing and we have something promising! ..assuming they add a wider range of scenery covered. The wind video was actually pretty cool, you can see the plane weathervaning toward the wind like planes do in real life. Jorge Martinez Love the NGX!
January 7, 201214 yr Some of the best wind, turbulence, clouds, and physics modeling (actually the list keeps going) in a flight sim I've ever seen are in Rise of Flight. It takes the cake. I think there's a future in that engine. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
January 7, 201214 yr WOOOOW, one word: AMAZING. But one thing I'm very concerned about (and I think we all are), DOES IT HAVE THE WHOLE WORLD? or only small regions like Flight? If so, this is gonna be another useless sim. The best thing about FSX is, is that there is unlimited exploration, you can go anywhere in the world whenever you want, only for 60 dollars which I've paid 3 years ago. But although Aerofly does look extremely promising, let's not cheer to early. I will go where PMDG goes, but in order for PMDG to switch to this:- ... the game needs the whole world- ... the game can't have too many limitations. It must be possible that add-ons can be developed and installed-. ... it should have good weather simulation, and other simulation, which allows the 737NGX and MD11 to fly just like in FSX. January 8, 201214 yr should be available in their u.s. shop next month http://www.aeroflyfs...p/de/forum.htmlthat sim looks amazing, i will definately pick up a copy! don't know about seasons and night flight but what you can see in the videos is already worth $49! (well, plus S&H lol)No, the game won't have night and season's, no real world weather, no AI traffic, and only Switzerland. This means this thing is again not gonna be replacing FSX. The only sim that could replace FSX, and where PMDG could go to is XPlane 10. Although I don't like it that much, it's got potential (if they release an update to fix those awful flight dynamics). January 8, 201214 yr Aerolfy FS in its current state is less of a sim then MS Flight. :( Still, I am thinking about buying it, just for fun. I can look all day at those beautiful shadows on those beautiful vc's (in which nothings works, but well...). BTW Maybe it's better to talk about Aerofly FS here:http://forum.avsim.n...ofly-simulator/Yes, Avsim already has a dedicated forum for this game. Edited January 8, 201214 yr by J van E
January 8, 201214 yr They need to add explosions and more airplane parts flying apart. I'd like to see the houses and cars catch on fire. Paul Gugliotta
January 8, 201214 yr Looks very good. I would buy it straight away, even at $250 or whatever. I can only find the version for €40, the expensive version is the RC version that comes with a RC controller (€250).The wind animation looks great, the flags of CH, Kanton Aargau and I'm guessing the local flag of Birr perhaps.Ï have done a bit of flying on the RC programme, my local RC shop, http://slowflyer.ch/index2.php has a demo you can play with as long as you want. It's a lot of fun, hard to say if the physics are good from an RC simulator though. I cost €250 I think. Edited January 8, 201214 yr by Hellfire -Iain Watson-
