Take care not to be too smug...they could shut down your FSX hopes by Friday lunch - if they wanted. MS is more than just a partner in this hobby. So give them some credit. Let’s keep feedback constructive; there’s no good reason we can’t do that. Some maturity and respect is in your own best interest here. mgh makes a good point.
Maybe you are right. Just look at the LOG IN for registering. You will understand that we will be completely 'insider their big BOX' without realizing it. It will not be free but quite expensive. For MS it is a world business even if they should not sell many.Raimund
Until Flight is actually released we cannot know that.
"Yes, we can!" :Big Grin:Flight is in beta, i.e. feature complete, not in alpha testing. As others have pointed out, beta testing for Microsoft usually means RTM (or thather RTDL in this case). And from the reports I've read there is nothing for the serious simmer in the Flight beta.Cheers,- jahman.

So what you see now is what you get, you dont really believe that yourself do you. You seriously believe that the 40-50 people who have been working on this only have made one island with a few missions and thats it.
Yes there is: I have no time (or respect) for folks who don't keep their word.
What "word" was that and when was it made?

What many of us are afraid of is that they've created other little closed "pockets" to fly around in, instead of open geographical regions (a la Orbx). If it's the former, I'm sure some of the vitriol will die down...

No, of course there will be more scenery and aircraft as MS continue to expand the arcade aspects of Flight. And as to the future, well, we really don't know. But ask yourself rather what Flight has to offer the serious simmer and why add-on developpers have been locked out, etc. etc. as already discussed in many other posts.

Jahman, dont worry so much, there is enough already for the serious simmer, while the FMC punching bunch at this moment seems to have to wait a while longer. What you SEE and HEAR is focussed on the gameplay, but underneath is indeed a much improved engine to be ready to get unlocked. So stop whining, just wait a little more untill it released.Tom, its getting out of hand.
